Former dancer Lian Paz said that she could relate to the parenting style received by Eat Bulaga host Atasha Mulach, who shared that she only received a P100 daily allowance from her parents, Aga Mulach and Charlene Gonzales.
In her Instagram post, Lian expressed her amazement at how Atasha didn’t complain about the allowance she had been receiving from her parents despite their wealth from their successful showbiz career.
She assumed that Atasha survived her little allowance as there was a possibility that she was being transported using their private vehicle or school service.
Meanwhile, Lian said her P100 daily included her transportation and food allowance.
“Na-amaze ako to know about Atasha Mulach’s 100 pesos daily allowance, kasi back then in college yan din ako. Pero sa akin, kasama na ang pamasahe at pangkain. O diba! Di Atasha baka di sundo naman or may school service, pure allowance lang ang 100 pesos,” she said.
Lian also didn’t forget to thank her parents for teaching her how to budget her money.
Due to some negative reactions to her post, Lian decided to delete it.
“Dinilete ko ang post ko. Iniba kasi ang perspective nu’ng pinost ko. Imbes I am thanking my parents dahil sa pagturo nila ng values sa money. Marami kasi ang entitled lately na dapat malaki ang allowances, nakita ko pa nga ‘yung anak na nireklamo tatay niya kay Tulfo,” she said.
“Hindi madali sa magulang lalo magpa-aral at the same time turuan ng tamang values ang anak,” she added.
