Edgar Allan Guzman admitted that he was full of regrets when her long-time girlfriend, Shaira Diaz, caught him watching bold movies.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, EA and Shaira shared the said incident with Ogie.
According to Shaira, what EA was done was cheating.
“Sinasabi nila, normal lang sa lalake manood ng ganito. Pero para sa akin, bakit parang kailangan i-normalize? Sabi ko, “Palit tayo, ako manonood. May pinagpapantasyahan akong ibang lalake, matutuwa ka,” said Shaira.
She added: “Parang cheating din siya sa akin kasi nakikita mo ang katawan ng ibang tao which is supposed to be parang sacred,”
After Shaira had said that, EA realized that what he had done was wrong and stopped watching his favorite movies starting that day.
“Du’n nag-start, Mama Ogs. Tinamaan ako du’n na nasasaktan siya. So dahil sobrang mahal ko siya, nag stop talaga,” he stated.
The interview received a mixed reaction from the netizens and sparked a debate about whether watching bold movies despite being in a relationship is cheating.
Some told Shaira that EA is also a human and has needs, especially since they’ve been practicing celibacy for 11 years already.
However, netizens who sided with Shaira said that it was EA’s choice to practice celibacy with Shaira.
