Cassy Legaspi’s cryptic post on social media captured the attention of the netizens.
In her post, she posted a lyric from a song titled ‘Ain’t Nobody Takin’ My Baby’ originally performed by Russ.
“Cause hurt people hurt people, that’s a known fact,” the lyric reads.
Meanwhile, her mother Carmina Villaroel also posted a cryptic message on her Instagram page, saying that people should stop expecting the same treatment in return.
It can be recalled that Cassy started to post cryptic posts on social media after her “friend” Darren Espanto clarified during an interview that he only treated the television host as a “best friend.” and nothing romantic was surrounding them.
“Best friends talaga. It’s something a lot of people won’t get. Hindi ko alam paano explain pero syempre andun ‘yung pagmamahal namin sa isa’t isa,” he stated.
Darren made the same denial during one of the episodes of It’s Showtime, where he was paired with Kapuso actress Jillian Ward.
Netizens saw a chemistry between Jillian and Darren, which may have led to them forming a love team.
As of writing, netizens were waiting if Darren would respond to the cryptic messages published by Cassy and Carmina.
