Comedian Marietta Subong, popularly known as ‘Pokwang,’ responded to the critics who questioned her motivation to deport her ex-partner, Lee O’Brian, after their separation.
In her Instagram post, Pokwang told the netizens who called her ‘bitter’ and urged her to just ‘move on’ that many single mothers inquired about the service of her lawyer, Attorney Ralph Calinisan.
“Ngayon nyo sabihin sakin na bitter ako, mag move on na ako! Sa dami ng nag ask ng number ng lawyer ko mga single mom karamihan magsasampa din ng kaso sa mga ex nila! So ano yon? Ano tawag don? Sige invalidate pa more!” she stated.
It can be recalled that Calinisan successfully pushed for the deportation of Lee for allegedly working in the country without proper documents.
However, Lee’s deportation was reportedly delayed after the actor decided to exhaust all legal remedies to allow him to visit the country again.
Lee decided to file a motion for voluntary deportation, a move that might lighten the consequences he may face for allegedly staying in the country illegally.
It can be recalled that there was still a chance for him to clear his name on the Bureau of Immigration (BI) blacklist, depending on the result of his legal action.
