Veteran columnist Jobert Sucaldito and Chaps Manansala discussed the possible cause of Kim Chiu’s decision to end her relationship with Xian Lim.
In the latest episode of “Oras ng Opinyon, Talakayan, at Diskusyon,’ the hosts discussed the rumors that Kim discovered Xian’s true self.
“Walang lumalabas na mga dahilan kung bakit sila naghiwalay. Pero matunog ang usap-usapan ng mga marites na kaya raw naghiwalay sina Kim at saka si Xian dahil nabuking daw ni Kim na si Xian Lim ay bading,” Jobert said.
However, Jobert said there’s nothing wrong if the rumors are true.
“Nagulat ako. Kasi unang-una, I know Xian. I don’t think he’s bading… And if ever he’s gay, so anong problema? Being gay is beautiful. Masaya,” he stated.
It can be recalled that last December 2023, Kim announced that her 12-year romance with Xian was over.
“We owe our supporters the truth, but we also respect each other’s time of healing. In a relationship, love is always a significant factor, but sometimes love is not enough,” said Chiu. “We shared more than a decade of love, each other’s support system, and many beautiful memories,” said Kim.
“It was our mutual decision to transition our relationship into what we hope to be a lifelong friendship. We thank all our followers for their love and support, but now we ask you to appreciate our honesty and give us the privacy we need as we begin new chapters of our lives. To all our supporters, maraming salamat for all the love and understanding,” she added.
