According to a close friend of the celebrity couple, Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones have separated since 2019.
In an interview, Ricco Ocampo, also one of the godfathers of the couple, said that they already called it quits five years before they officially announced their status to the public.
According to Ricco, the breakup was decided mutually, and Jericho and Kim remained as friends.
“While the friendship between the two remains, they have decided it is time to lead separate lives. They are encouraging each other to grow, albeit in different directions. It was a mutual decision, an amicable separation, dealt with grace and maturity by both parties,” he said.
“The two are filled with gratitude for the memories they’ve made together and the lessons they’ve learned. They have journeyed through the separation with the utmost respect and care toward one another precisely because Echo and Kim are the best of friends and love each other like family,” he added.
Ricco said that Jericho and Kim were ‘grateful’ to the people who supported their relationship.
He revealed that Jericho wanted to focus on acting while Kim decided to put her time into writing and creating movies.
The rumors about the separation was mentioned by Ogie Diaz several weeks ago.
