Raymond Gutierrez went viral on social media after he uploaded several photos together with his boyfriend, Robert William.
However, several netizens mistook Raymond for his twin brother Richard, who was facing controversy over his separation rumors with Sarah Lahbati.
Some netizens even criticized Raymond as they thought Richard was now having a relationship with a man.
“Hindi mo man lang naisip si Sarah tsaka mga anak mo,” netizen Rhoi said.
The said post received more than 200,000 reactions as of writing.
It can be recalled that Raymond identified himself as a member of the LGBT community and became a partner of Robert in 2022.
“In January, I did meet someone and we’re taking it a little bit more seriously. And yeah, we are in a relationship,” said Raymond.
“There’s nothing to hide. What is there to hide? If the pandemic taught us one thing, it’s to live your life now,” he added.
In another interview, Raymond also shared how proud he was as a member of LGBT.
“I’m here to formally say that I am a proud member of the LGBTQ community. And it feels great saying that publicly because I am,” he said.
“I am out to a lot of my close friends and I’m lucky that I have that support system around me to give me the confidence to really accept who I am and to love myself because not a lot of people have that,” he added.
