Fans of Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, and Vice Ganda already joined forces to pressure TV5 to remove veteran columnist Cristy Fermin from their network.
In the past few days, Cristy made several claims about the state of Kathryn and Daniel’s breakup and also directly criticized Vice after the comedian took a swipe against her on It’s Showtime.
Fans did not take Cristy’s remarks lightly, and some of them already launched a campaign to persuade TV5 to let go of Cristy.
“TV5 please tanggalin nyo na yang cristy fermin na yan isang anay lang yn sa Network nyo na sumisira sa samahan ng mga Kapatid at Kapamilya! Yung show nya puro lang batikos s mga artista flop nman,” netizen DJRon said.
“Dapat yan hindi na binigyan ng show nila at pag-umiirere nila sa TV5 ni Cristy Fermin yan nakakawala ng respeto sa mga salita ng mga LGBTQ community at pati kay Meme Vice and KathNiel sobra na nga yon dapat sinususpinde hinayang mismo or cancelled show mismo eh Right???” netizen Rainer wrote.
TV5 was handling Cristy’s program ‘Cristy Ferminute,’ which became controversial many times due to her gossip about celebrities.
As of writing, the TV Network has yet to respond to the request of the netizens.
