The authorities finally found the biggest evidence that they might help them to solve the disappearance of Miss Grand Philippines contestant Catherine Camilon.
PNP HPG Region 4-A discovered a red SUV in Barangay Dumuclay, Batangas City, allegedly the vehicle where Camilon was transferred by the suspects when two witnesses saw her in bad condition.
However, the vehicle already had no conduction sticker or license plate, and its engine and chassis numbers were tampered with, indicating that the car’s owner attempted to hide something.
The vehicle was brought to Camp Miguel Malvar to find traces of evidence that would help them solve the case.
They also found that the owner of Camilon’s vehicle was possibly involved in a carnapping group.
CCTV footages also showed that Camilon was not driving alone during the day she went missing.
It can be remembered that the authorities had already found several persons of interest behind Camilon’s disappearance, including a police officer with whom the beauty queen allegedly had a relationship.
