An episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) went viral after they featured a man in South Cotabato who was recorded while allegedly possessed by an evil spirit.
The incident was recorded by some security guards who witnessed it and quickly uploaded it on social media to seek answers.
One of the security guards, Mark Templa, narrated that the incident happened during his night shift on September 4, 2023.
According to him, the man suddenly approached him and asked for his assistance, claiming he kept seeing unusual things that other people were unseeable.
Suddenly, the man suddenly fell and started to convulse. Templa’s colleague, Domingo Mandato Jr., quickly came to help, but they were horrified when they saw the man float.
Pula ‘yung mata niya.
They even said that the man spoke Latin, a language being used in Ancient Rome.
Meanwhile, the man who claimed to have experienced spirit possession, ‘Mateo,’ said that the incident happened after he visited an internet cafe.
He then described the spirit that he allegedly saw before being possessed.
“Malalaki sila, matatangkad, mahahaba ‘yung buhok. Mapupula ‘yung mga mata nila. ‘Yung pisngi nila is malalaki. Nakatayo sila at nakatitig talaga sila sa akin. Sobrang kaba ko talaga,” he stated.
However, several netizens questioned the claims of Mateo, saying that there was no clear indication that the man floated.
According to some netizens, it only appears that Mateo was floating because the security guards were supporting his head and feet.
Others even poked fun at the incident and recreated the scene to prove that there was no way for Mateo to float without any support.
