Actor and director Carlo Aquino reportedly filed charges against his former partner Trina Candaza.
According to a report released by the Philippine Star, Carlo was seen carrying his daughter Mithi during their visit to the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.
The charges were related to the visitation rights of Carlo to his daughter.
In the photo forwarded by Carlo to the press, Mithi was seen hugging her father.
It was alleged that Trina was preventing Carlo from visiting their daughter.
However, there was some opposing reports from the camp of Trina, saying that Carlo was always welcome to visit Mithi.
One of the evidence they allegedly presented was the invitation made by Trina’s family to Carlo to visit Mithi’s birthday.
As of writing, Carlo has yet to give any statement on the charges he filed.
In 2022, Carlo confirmed that he was already separated from Trina.
Trina then revealed that she was the one who decided to end the relationship, saying that she was not being treated right by the actor.
“Kapag binigay niya sa amin ‘yung treatment na dapat lang na ma-receive namin, na tama lang, mag-stay kami. Kung hindi, aalis na lang kami,” Trina said.
Carlo was currently in a relationship with actress Charlie Dizon.
