Awra Briguela filed a counter-affidavit as a response to the complaints filed against him after she was involved in an altercation in Poblacion, Makati on June 29.
According to a report from DZABB, the Kapamilya actress personally filed his response to the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office on August 30, accompanied by her lawyer Atty. Mikaelo Jaime Reyes.
Awra argued that the complainant, Mark Christian Ravana committed violations of section 1 Anti-Wiretapping law, Safe Spaces Act, and also slight physical injury.
Safe Spaces Act protects individuals from Gender-based persecution.
The camp of Awra refused to give additional comment on the issue.

The controversial talent of Vice Ganda was facing multiple charges including disobedience to a person in authority after she resisted the cops who were trying to put her under their custody.
She was also seen arguing with the police officers.
Despite the controversy she faced, Vice clarified that he was not planning to remove Awra from his roster of talents.
“‘Yung mga issues na hindi ko na muna ita-tackle, bahala na ‘yan sa susunod. Ang gusto kong klaruhin ay hindi kami naghihiwalay ni Awra. Hindi ko siya iiwanan lalung-lalo na sa posisyon ng buhay niya, she needs guidance and I will be there for her,” Vice said.
