Atty. Raymond Fortun revealed some important details about the viral confrontation between a cyclist and a retired police officer on August 8, 2023.
It can be recalled that a cyclist who’s being currently assisted by Fortun was planning to file charges against Willie Gonzales after the latter almost used his weapon against the victim.
According to Fortun, the cyclist was forced to sign an agreement to withdraw any attempt to file a complaint against Fortun and the suspect even asked him to pay P500 for the damages he did to his vehicle.
He also showed a conversation between him and the cyclist to shed light on the issue.
The cyclist narrated that he only tapped the vehicle of Gonzales because the retired cop was using the bike lane.
As of writing, Gonzales has yet to give a respond to the cyclist’s statement.
