Lapasan Baptist Church Pastor Dimver Andales believed that someone wanted to tarnish his reputation and made untrue stories about him.
It can be recalled that Andales was linked to the demise of 23-year-old graduating student Adriane Rovic Fornillos last August 9 after several posts claimed that the pastor was an alleged ‘sugar daddy’ of the victim’s girlfriend Jone Orog.
However, Andales said that it was possible that the rumors being spread about him were politically motivated as his son was running for the upcoming Barangay elections.
Andales also run as part of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Cagayan de Oro’s second district but lost.
He also said that it was impossible for him to have an affair because he was happy with his marriage.
Andales also mulled charges against individuals who created the said story against him.
As of writing, Andales has yet to name the said individuals who wanted to ruin his reputation.
