The fans of the celebrity couple believed that the two deserved a break.
It can be recalled that the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned It’s Showtime production team to explain why they should not be suspended for allowing Vice and Ion to do such acts in front of other children.

Vice never made any statement on the move by MTRCB, but he made several swipes against the issue.
Netizens also noticed that after the issue, Ion was not present in the following episodes of Isip Bata.
It’s Showtime fans also urged MTRCB to be fair with their actions and even pointed out the connection of the agency’s head, Lala Sotto, to the closest competitor of the Kapamilya show.
