Remember the cute sidekick of Cardo Dalisay in Ang Probinsyano? He was now graduated from elementary with honors.
In a Facebook post, the mother of Xymon Pineda, who became popular in the defunct top-rated show of ABS-CBN as ‘Onyok,’ posted some photos taken during her son’s graduation at the Real Central Elementary School.
“I’m so proud of you anak! Stay humble, obedient, and always trust in the Lord with all your heart,” the caption stated, which appeared to be written by Pineda’
Xymon finished grade six with an average grade of 92, making him qualified to be included in the student honors list.
The fans of Ang Probinsyano congratulated Xymon for his new achievement.
“Onyok!!! Napakabait mong bata ..natutuwa ako sayo pag pinapanood kita sa Ang Probinsyano …at sa Your face sound Familiar ..Sana mapanood ulit kita kasama si Idol Coco Martin,” netizen Rochelle said.
Coincidentally, while netizens were congratulating ‘Onyok’ for being a good student, another former cast of Ang Probinsyano, Awra Briguela, has been receiving criticism for being involved in a commotion last month.
Awra portrayed the character ‘Makmak,’ who also became the sidekick of the leading character.
It’s not yet known if Xymon is still planning to return to showbiz someday.
