The camp of Eat Bulaga host Buboy Villar denied the reports that the actor would leave the show after netizens discovered that one of the contestants who joined the noontime show was one of his employees.
It can be revealed that Villar received criticisms on social media after one netizen recognized the contestant and accused Eat Bulaga of choosing the people who would win their prizes.
Rumors circulated that TAPE Inc. was not happy with what happened so they allegedly considered removing Villar.
“Contestant nyo kunyari napili or talagang kasama scripted na.. Papremyo nyo di naman tunay na makukuha ng mga pipila at magtyatyga sa labas. Pinagloloko nyo mga manonood ahiiiiii.” netizen LeoBrando Manlapaz said.
Aside from Manlapaz, several netizens also confirmed that the contestant was connected to Buboy.
However, the camp of the host denied it, calling it ‘fake news’.
The report has been proven fake after Buboy appeared on the show on June 13, 2023.
Buboy didn’t confirm nor deny the accusations which made the netizens more disappointed.
