Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin answered the allegations made by another popular showbiz reporter and former co-host Lolit Solis.
In her statement, Cristy denied that she’s criticizing Lolit’s talent, Paolo Contis based on his personality.
Lolit also claimed that the reason why Cristy criticized her talent was possibly because of her.
“Sad ako dahil feeling ko baka sa akin galit si Cristy at nadamay lang si Paolo. Sana hindi, dahil alam ko na kung may galit si Cristy sa akin sasabihin niya at hindi niya itatago iyon. Isang fair at marespetong tao si Cristy, at bilang writer ay very fair at factual. Hindi sisirain ni Cristy ang pagkatao niya dahil lang sa personal na galit.” Lolit said.
However, Cristy said that it was Lolit who made personal criticisms first against Bea Alonzo.
She also adviced Lolit to focus on her health instead.
“Hindi ko pinersonal si Paolo Contis. Narinig niyo ba kong sinabi na ang laki-laki ng bilbil nitong si Paolo, wala naman karapatan mag-host ito?” said Cristy.
“‘Yung aking puna ay linya lamang ng parametro ng trabaho. Hindi ko gagawin ang mga bagay na kontra sa katotohanan.
“Ang payo ko sayo, ang stress tanggalin mo, ang katawan mo tutukan mo, ang kinabukasan mo ang paghandaan mo. Napakaiksi ng buhay. I-enjoy lang natin,” she added.
As of writing, Lolit has yet to respond to Cristy’s post.
