An unusual incident along North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) has been captured by a netizen and quickly went viral on social media.
In a video, Serry Grecia shared a lost horse running on NLEX southbound between San Fernando and San Simon Pampanga on May 19.
Netizens expressed concern as the horse was visibly confused with the noise and fast-running vehicles.
“Imagine how stress the horse is. And kung gaano ka unsafe na nasa malayo at nasa labas siya not knowing kung saan siya pupunta. Be mindful din for lost animals. I hope your family’s doing their best to see you baby.” netizen Janyn said.
“Imagine the anxiety level nung kabayo na napapaligiran ng mabibilis na sasakyan and the unfamiliar sound of car engines na humaharurot.” netizen Rose commented.
Fortunately, a horse rider made a successful attempt to rescue the horse.
According to Kenneth Kurt Villarica, they rescued the horse between Sta. Monica and San Simon.
They also quickly checked the condition of the horse and they noticed that the animal was tired from non-stop running.
“Narecover po namin sa sta monica san simon po pawis na pawis sobra sakit napo ng paa,” Villarica said.
The horse reportedly recovered already and its owner is still not yet identified.
