Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu gave an update about the condition of her sister Lakay after the latter has been rushed to the hospital.
On April 23, 2023, Kim revealed that her sister has been brought to the ICU, fortunately, her condition improved so she was transferred to a regular room.
However, the actress said that Lakay was still unconscious.
She then asked her friends and followers not to stop praying for the betterment of her sister’s condition.
“Thank you for your prayers for my ate Lakam. Sorry, I was not able to reply to each one of you. She is out of ICU last night. She is transferred to a normal room. We are waiting for her consciousness to regain.” she said.
On her 33rd birthday last April 19, Kim revealed that sad news about her sister, saying that she couldn’t celebrate her special day because of what happened.
“Today is different. I wish it were different. Before today ends, I want to say Thank You for all your greetings and well wishes. Thank you for the flowers, cakes, and meaningful birthday messages you sent here online and personally. I’m sorry I couldn’t answer all your messages. I appreciate you all so much. Salamat po.” Kim said.
“Kung may hihingin man akong regalo sa inyo ngayon yun ay prayers para sa ate Lakam ko.” she added.
Kim refused to reveal the exact condition of her sister.
