A 35-year-old construction labourer couldn’t believe that he was one of the two winners of the 6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot worth P521,275,111.60.
On December 30, 2022, the lotto winner said that he couldn’t believe it when he saw on social media that he won the mega jackpot.
He also shared that he carefully planned his travel to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City.
According to him, he’s been a patron of lotto games for 10 years already, but he didn’t expect to win such a big prize because he was waging when he had extra money to buy tickets.
The winner used a combination of the birthdays of his siblings.
He also said that he only dreamed of buying a house and lot, but his luck gave him more than that.
He urged the people to support the lotto and kept buying tickets because it was possible that they might be the next winner.
After winning the lotto, the labourer was required to pay 20% tax for his winnings because of the TRAIN law.
