Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla met during the 1st Summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars on April 2, 2023.
In some videos posted on several social media platforms, it can be seen that Aljur tried to help Kylie to climb the stage, but it’s not certain if the latter allowed her former partner to touch her.
Some netizens even said that they didn’t see Kylie holding the hands of Aljur while climbing the stage.
“Parang di nagpahawak eh,” netizen BBashche said.
“Parang iniwan ni Kylie yung kamay nya, muntik pang taibigin,” netizen MvpG_amber commented.
“Nakita ko din dinaan lang niya, deserve. Behind sa mga ngiti niya ramdam kung nasasaktan parin siya,” Mommy Mich remarked.
Kylie was part of the movie Unravel: A Swiss Side Love Story, while Aljur was one of the casts of Single Bells, Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko: The Music of Rey Valera.

Another video also showed Kylie and Aljur talking together on the stage, a sign that they’re still friends despite the outcome of their marriage.
It can be recalled that Aljur just recently admitted that he cheated on Kylie during their relationship which became the cause of their breakup.
“Yeah, totoo naman, totoo naman iyon. On my part, oo. Ina-admit ko iyon, may pagkakamali ako.” Aljur told Toni Gonzaga.
He even tried to save their marriage but he realized that it’s already too late.
“Hindi na talaga magwo-work. Mare-realize mo na, ‘I have to accept.’ Kasi hindi na talaga,” he stated.
Aljur was currently in a relationship with AJ Raval, while Kylie has been rumored to be with an artist.
