Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin believed that the fate of the longest-noontime show Eat Bulaga was still uncertain despite the news circulating on the internet that the executives of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) allegedly backed out from their rebranding plans.
In her radio program ‘Cristy Ferminute’, Fermin said that the reports about the decision of the Jalosjos family to postpone their plans to takeover Eat Bulaga are ‘fake news’.
“Wala pa, wala pang katiyakan,” she added.
She explained that Tape Inc. has yet to release an official statement about the issue.
“Kasi nga April 15 ang kanilang sinabi kung kailan sila magsasalita na at magbibigay kanilang opisyal na pahayag tungkol sa Eat Bulaga diba.” she said.
It can be recalled that Cristy was one of the first entertainment columnists who revealed the rumored internal issue between the executives of Eat Bulaga.
