In the past years, the two members of the Tulfo brothers, Erwin and Raffy, went from being broadcast journalists to becoming public officials.
The two rise to power in 2022 when Erwin became the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary while Raffy became elected as a senator of the republic.
Their popularity suddenly rose because of their style known as ‘Tulfo Justice,’ where people chose to seek help from them instead of asking the authorities for assistance.
On March 23, Ben Tulfo made a statement that could hint that he’s also considering entering politics.
In the post, Ben shared his meeting with his brother Sen. Raffy who’s rumored to be one of the possible candidates in the 2028 presidential elections.
“Unfiltered kong sasabihin at sinabi ko na rin ito sa kaniya: ikaw ang pinakamabenta sa Senado. Ang lakas ng appeal mo sa masa, tamang-tama ka sa puwesto mo. I’m proud of you just like Tol Erwin.” Ben said.
He also asked the netizens if they wanted to see the three Tulfo brothers be in the Senate at the same time as what they were doing before on national television.
“Eto minsanan lang ‘to sa office ni Senator. Noong araw, sabay-sabay kaming tatlo sa media, sa isang programa. Pwede rin kaya sa Senado?” he said.
Tulfo fans expressed their excitement at the hint of Ben.
“Yng dalawa senador.at ung isa president.support 100%Sir.kami sa inyo,” netizen Belen said.
“Cge idol ben pweding pwedi ka po sa senado para mabawasan ang mga ungas na mapang api sa kapwa naniniwala ako sa kakayahan mo idol mula noon kahit anung programa ng mga tulfo paborito kung panuorin..mabuhay kayong dalawa idol ni kuya senator raffy…” netizen Orevir Naig commented.
