Sen. Robin Padilla couldn’t hide his disappointment towards the Tau Gamma Phi’s Adamson Chapter members for what they did to their recruit John Matthew Salilig.

During the hearing on the case of Salilig, Padilla questioned Daniel Perry, also known as ‘Sting,’ who was the master initiator of the welcoming rights to the victim.

Padilla, known for being close to the said fraternity, asked Perry to recite the prayer of Triskelion.

However, Perry admitted that he didn’t memorize the prayer, which disappointed the senator and saddened him.

“Hindi mo saulado? Mga anak pambihira kayo… Gusto ko pong magtanong pero mababaon kayo, ayoko na kayong baunin pa dahil baon na kayo,” said Padilla. “Pero sana sa Tau Gamma, isaksak niyo sa isip niyo ‘yung prayer niyo dahil napakaganda [ng mensahe],”

The Triskelion Prayer included the following words:

“Almighty God, bless this brotherhood and sisterhood of ours, that we may succeed in all of its endeavors, enlighten and strenghty our Premier, Secretary General, Chairman and chapter’s Grand Triskelion. So for then, to maintain the highest standdard of decision making, for a better and successful, Tau Gamma Phi, Tau Gamma Sigma, Fraternity and Sorrity. Amen.”

Meanwhile, Perry insisted that he was the one who took care of Salilig and never expected that he would pass away during that night.

The said members of Tau Gamma might not finish their degree because of what happened, and they might also lose their freedom someday.
