Comedian Keanna Reeves made a massive revelation against some celebrities on showbusiness who were doing ‘sideline’ to earn more money or to gain influence.

In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, Keanna said that some artists made money from accepting ‘booking’ that may be related to being an escort.

According to her, the price to hire artists depends on the celebrity’s popularity.

“The more kasi may pangalan, the more umaakyat ang presyo. Market value, ganun. Kasi, di ba, iba kasi ang dating pag nasa showbiz ka, kung nagpepelikula ka o nakasama mo ang mga artista or belong ka na sa showbiz, tumataas din ang market value mo.” she said.

“Either indecent proposal man yan o mga raket-raket sa commercial or endorsement, ganun na, given na yun.” she added.

She also claimed that even if the artist were good-looking, their price would not increase if they were not famous enough.

“Pag wala ka pang pangalan, kahit gaano ka kaguwapo, kahit gaano ka kaganda, mababa talaga ang market mo kumpara sa nakita na sa TV.” the comedian said.

Some artists also accepted ‘booking’ to advance their career in showbiz.

“Matagal nang lakaran yan, e! Dati pa yan. Ngayon, talamak na yan. Kasi hindi na sila nahihiya, e. Parang open na sa kanila na… na parang proud pa sila pag may presyo sila.” she said.

“Kasi parang diyan ang basehan ng level nila na mas guwapo sila, mas mahal sila, mas angat sila. Parang ganun. Parang in demand sila. “So dati, tago. Nahihiya sila, idedemanda ka pa nga. Ngayon parang pag pa-booking sila, alam na ng marami na pa-booking. They don’t care. Parang practical way. Parang ganun.” she also said.

Aside from Keanna, veteran journalist Jay Sonza hinted that some artists accepted booking services.

“Huwag na nating pangalanan ang mga artista at program hosts at news anchors na bumababa mula sa penthouse ng bagong paligo o may pabahay o pakotse,” Jay Sonza.
