Nasakal kay Ogie Diaz? Liza Soberano ibinahagi na wala siyang kalayaan noon bilang aktres: “I’ve sacrificed my freedom”

Actress Liza Soberano went viral on social media after she revealed the reason for the sudden direction change in her career.

In her 14-minute video, Soberano revealed that she had no freedom during her career in the country as an actress.

She became one of the most popular actresses in the country before she decided to leave the Philippines to try having a career in Hollywood.

“I’ve been in six feature films, over 500 episodes of teleserye, and have only really dabbled into three main genres romance, comedy, and drama. Since I was 16, I had only really worked side by side with one main co-star, with the same production company, rotating around the same three directors. During all those years, I was never really asked for my input, my thoughts, my ideas,” the actress stated.

“I’ve sacrificed myself, I’ve sacrificed my freedom, I’ve sacrificed my happiness to present Liza Soberano to the world, and I think I’ve earned the right to finally be me,” she added.

Netizens couldn’t stop themselves from speculating if Liza was complaining about the treatment she received from her former manager Ogie Diaz who just recently expressed his sadness over the decisions of his former talent.

It can be recalled that Ogie shared that he did everything to make Soberano’s career successful.

“Nanghihinayang lang ako kasi pinaghirapan naming lahat ito kung nasaan siya nandun. Gusto ko na lang unawain si Liza kung ano ang gusto niya, kung ano ang makakapagpasaya sa kanya. Pero syempre nanghihinayang ako dun sa mga nakakawalang proyekto kay Liza. Hindi rin pinalad ang ABS-CBN na gawin ng Lizquen kasi tumanggi sila.” the talent manager said.

Now Diaz called Soberano a ‘fan of K-pop’ because of her photos together with South Korean stars, far from her status as a popular actress.

As of writing, Diaz has yet to react to the statement of his former talent.
