A lady went viral on social media on Monday, February 6, after she was recorded trying to convince a store owner to send money to a certain e-wallet without paying first.
The said woman has been labeled as a ‘Cash In Girl,’ and people suspected that the said customer was trying to scam the store owner.
The video has been uploaded to several social media pages and received millions of views.
However, one day after the incident, the store owner clarified that she discovered that the said girl was not a scammer and also a possible victim of a swindler.
The store owner urged the netizens to delete the said video, saying that she discovered that her customer was known for being helpful to their community.
She explained that someone told her customer that she won a raffle and was required to send money first before getting the price.
However, netizens were still not convinced by the explanation of the store owner.
“Naniwala ka naman eh obvious naman na wala syang kausap at isa pa tinanong mo sya kung nasa kanya ung 5k sabi nya nasa kanya sa ung magbabayad so no d kapanipaniwala,” a netizen said.
Some even accused the store owner of conspiring with her customer to gain views.
