Panlasang Pinoy disappointed after his belongings went missing after his 15-hour flight to the Philippines

Popular food content creator Vanjo Merano a.k.a ‘Panlasang Pinoy’ narrated their disappointing experience during their 15-hour journey to the Philippines.

In his vlog, Merano couldn’t hide his disappointment with his experience traveling back to the country.

According to Merano, his family traveled to the Philippines from San Francisco, California via Philippine Airlines.

During their travel, they also encountered delays after staff from PAL informed them that some of the amenities in their business class seat were broken.

However, Merano encountered a more serious problem after they discovered that some of the items inside their luggage went missing.

He said that the luggage owned by the girlfriend of his son was opened and some of the items like perfume and chocolates were missing already.

PAL already offered assistance to them and vowed to return the expenses for the items that went missing.

However, Merano still expressed dismay because of the inconvenience that they experienced.

He’s also worried that they’re not the only people experiencing this kind of problem.

“Wala kami pinagbibintangang sinuman o saanman dahil wala kaming ebidensya. Kinukwento ko lang ang nangyari sa amin,” Merano said.

“Iyong experience sa PAL, wala iyon, nagawan naman ng solusyon, eh. Ang di lang namin matanggap, iyong mga nagnanakaw.. for sure, ‘di lang samin iyan nangyayari,” he added.

The content creator also made it clear that they arrived at three airports so people should not assume that their items were stolen during their landing at NAIA.

The video already reached 18,000,000 views as of writing.

Some netizens also shared the same experience during their travel to the Philippines.

The Department of Transporation (DOTr) and the Manila International Airport Authority have yet to give a comment about the incident.
