In an interview with ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda, Bea was asked if she’s willing to forget the past and build a friendship with Gerald.

However, Bea made a fierce statement, saying that she does not trust Gerald after being ‘ghosted’ by the actor.

“I can never be friends with somebody I cannot trust and somebody who doesn’t take responsibility for his actions,” Bea said.

It can be remembered that Bea and Gerald ended their relationship in 2019 because of an alleged third party.

The word ‘ghosting’ became familiar with the netizens during that time after Bea said that Gerald didn’t even talk to her months before their breakup.

“Before it happened to me, I didn’t even know that, na may ganun pala. Na may ganung terminology for it. Ghosting. I didn’t know,” Bea said in a past interview.

“I felt like garbage. I felt like I was worthless. So I guess iyon yung resentment ko, more than just the ghosting part. It was making me feel na I was worthless. And I believed it.” she also said.

It was rumored during that year that Gerald was having a relationship with actress Julia Barretto, but the two denied it.

However, in 2021 the two confirmed that they were already in a relationship.

Gerald said that he was still hoping that Bea would forgive him someday.

“More siguro kay Bea. Huwag na po tayo siguro mandamay ng ibang tao. I really pray, I really hope she will find it in her heart to forgive what happened, forgive me. Nag-ho-hope lang ako.” Gerald said in an interview with Abunda.
