Kapamilya’s top comedian Jose Marie Viceral popularly known as Vice Ganda couldn’t stop himself from commenting on the current issue being faced by some officials of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth).
Viceral, who’s a vocal supporter of his home network expressed frustration on the allegations that some officials of the said corporation pocketed P15-B for their own gains.
According to him, the corrupt officials of Philhealth should face consequences like feeding them droppings.
“Parusahan ang mga magnanakaw sa Philhealth. Ikulong! PAGDUSAHIN.
Former anti-fraud officer Thorsson Montes Keith revealed the alleged fraudalent activities of some high officials of Philhealth before a Senate investigation.
Meanwhile, officials of Philhealth denied the allegations of Thorsson.
“The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) categorically denies in strongest terms that its senior officials have “pocketed” some P15 billion as alleged by Thorsson Keith during the Senate hearing on August 4, 2020,” the corporation statement read.
“Atty Keith was hired as a job order contractor to do staff work under the Office of the President and is in no position to discuss office matters being in the Corporation for only 9 months. His malicious claims not substantiated by evidence were obviously made to malign officers that rejected his ambitions for higher offices which he is not qualified for,” they added.
