Prosecutor reacts on the teacher who got caught for putting bounty on Duterte’s head: “Not one celebrity of ABS CBN will come to your rescue”

A Senior Assistant City Prosecutor of the Department of Justice (DOJ) reacted on what happened to the teacher who offered P50-M to anyone who could end the life of President Rodrigo Duterte.

In a Facebook post, Prosecutor Darwin Darwin Cañete said that what happened to the teacher identified as Ronnel Mas, should be a lesson to people who supported ABS-CBN to be careful with their social media posts.

According to him, what happened to Mas is an example that no celebrity from ABS-CBN would defend them once they face legal problems because of being too supportive of the television network giant.

“Please realize that when you are caught with overwhelming evidence, you are alone and not one celebrity of ABS CBN will come to your rescue. Mag-isa kang magdudusa. Like this poor schmuck,” Cañete said.

“A lot of people keep pestering me about anti – DDS “shame pages.” personally, I don’t mind. In fact, I’m surprised they started this late. Doxxing has been part of the woke social media cyberwarfare tactic for years. Anyway, we can definitely say what they innovated was to do it as an organized undertaking. Good for them. Unfortunately, they really do not think ahead. DDS have the same tools and dedication, in fact, fanatically moreso. Surely you can improve on their effort. Basta huwag sila umiyak sa resbakan. Like this guy,” he also said in another social media post.

On Monday, the members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Pangasinan traced the location of Mas who at first denied that he made the said tweet against President Duterte.

Later on, the teacher admitted that he made the said post but he’s not serious about what he posted.

“Opo nagso-sorry po ako kay President Rodrigo Duterte dahil nagawa ko ang tweet na ‘yon… hindi ko po intensyon ‘yon,” the teacher said.

“Marami pa po akong pangarap,” he also said.

Mas is currently at the NBI Central Office in Manila where he was presented to the media.

In a video posted by GMA News, the teacher can be seen handcuffed and kneeling for forgiveness.

“Ang dami ng problema ng bansa, dumagdag pa ako, ito po ay aking pinagsisisihan ng buong puso,” he said.
