A few days ago, a certain @RonPrince_ posted a tweet saying that he would reward P50-M to anyone who could end the life of the President.
“I will give 50-M reward kung sino ang makakap*tay kay Duterte #NoToABSCBNShutDown,” the netizen said.
Supporters of President Duterte and other netizens expressed concern on the tweet of @RonPrince_ so they asked the help of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to trace the man behind the post.
The netizen who later on identified as Ronnel Mas, a teacher from Taltal Masinloc, Zambales was caught by the members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Pangasinan on Monday.

According to netizen Ronald Allan Sison, at first, the teacher denied that he’s the one who wrote the said tweet, however, later on, he cried and admitted his mistakes in a recorded video.
“Opo nagso-sorry po ako kay President Rodrigo Duterte dahil nagawa ko ang tweet na ‘yon… hindi ko po intensyon ‘yon,” the teacher said.
Mas explained that he could only express his thoughts on Twitter independently.
He said that he never expected that people would notice his tweet.
“Marami pa po akong pangarap,” he said.
After being asked by Sison, he admitted that he’s only looking for attention on social media but he really never meant to put a bounty on Duterte’s head.
Sison then explained the mistake committed by Mas.
“Ronnel, malinawag na rin naman ang pag amin mo from your heart, so we will do our best na i-extend ang pag intindi sa’yo… national security ang kinahinatnan nito, seguridad ito ng ating bansa, sapagkat kung pinatay ang ating Presidente, what will happen to our country?” the agent said.
Meanwhile, the NBI Central office ordered NBI Pangasinan to transport Mas as soon as possible to Manila.
