Senator Nancy Binay offered her colleague outgoing lawmaker Antonio Trillanes IV a teaching job at the University of Makati (UMAK).
That is according to Senator Panfilo Lacson who posted on Twitter what happened between Binay and Trillanes’ who are known the political enemy in the past after her father, former Vice President Jejomar Binay was investigated by the former mutineer.
Lacson Twitted that Binay offered Trillanes a teaching job and even showcased the benefits of being a professor at the University of Makati to convince the outgoing Senator.
Binay said that professors at UMAK are entitled to many benefits like 24-hours free parking at the Makati parking, free admission to the Makati Hospital and free Burial in the Makati Cemetery.
“Senate camaraderie at its best in the 17th Congress: Sen Nancy Binay offered graduating Sen Trillanes a teaching job at the University of Makati with 24-hr free parking at the Makati parking lot, plus free admission to the Ospital ng Makati and free burial in the Makati cemetery.” Lacson said.

Meanwhile, Senator Trillanes declined the offer of Binay.
“I appreciated the sincere offer but I respectfully declined out of delicadeza. It was truly nice of her,” Trillanes said.
Trillanes is giving a clue to the press in several interviews that he’s planning to teach after his Senate term.
Several structures owned by Makati City Government like it’s parking, school and hospital were tried to investigate by Trillanes several years ago.
Lacson also confirmed that he only added the “free burial and free parking” to the story, because he remembered the investigation of Trilanes against Nancy Binay’s father.
“Dagdag ko na lang ‘yung free parking and free burial kasi si Sen Trillanes, pursued to the hilt the Senate Investigation on the UMak and parking lot issues if you recall,” he added.
