Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte slammed Senator Antonio Trillanes IV for claiming that President Rodrigo Duterte is pushing her to run for the presidency in 2022.
Yesterday, according to the news reports, Trillanes said that the only choice of President Rodrigo Duterte to maintain his power is to let his daughter Inday Sara replace him in Malacanang.

‘Pag di natuloy ‘yan, wala na siyang magagawa [kundi] option C niya ay itutulak niya si Sara Duterte bilang pangulo sa 2022, pero ang unang hakbang niyan ay itulak siya para senador sa 2019,” Trillanes said at the general assembly of opposition coalition Tindig Pilipinas.
However, Inday Sara denied the claims of Senator Trillanes and warned him to leave her alone or else, the Magdalo politician might have a difficult time in his future political plans.
She mentioned former House Speaker Prospero Nograles as the last politician who spoke against her and she said that he became “billion pesos poorer” after he lost an election against her.
“LEAVE ME ALONE, Senator Trillanes. The last time a person irked me, I made sure to make it difficult for him to bring me down and Speaker Boy Nograles lost that election and was a billion pesos poorer.” Inday Sara said in her Facebook post.
“Like Speaker Alvarez, my advice to you is not to think of me, speak of my name, not even a whisper of Inday Sara from your ugly lips.“ she added.
Inday Sara said that if Trillanes would not stop in speaking about her, the opposition which the senator belongs might also spend billions of pesos in the 2022 Presidential elections.
“Leave me in peace in Davao City or else you and your friends will spend more than a billion in the 2022 Presidential elections just to make me insignificant,” she told Trillanes.
The Davao City Mayor didn’t specify what she meant; however, several netizens guessed that Inday Sara could run for President to give the opposition a hard time to gain power.
Inday Sara also denied again that she’s eyeing for a senatorial seat in the next year’s election.
“Let me repeat, do not bother me and my slot will be available for a yellow Senator for the 2019 elections,” she said.
In the last part of her message to Trillanes, she described herself as worst than her father because if President Duterte wants the Magdalo senator to be shot, she might prefer the Senator to be alive and suffer.
“President Duterte imagines you will be shot, on the other hand, I will make sure you are alive and in pain.” she said.
” I have been described as heartless by my mother, please do not anger me so that you may remain relevant for the future generation. And you should listen to my mother.“ she added.

This is not the first time that Inday Sara criticized Senator Trillanes.
In February, the Davao City Mayor said that Trillanes might be “hooked on something” that made him obsessed with President Duterte.
“I am starting to believe the rumors that Trillanes is hooked on something that must have disrupted his sanity, destroyed his dreams, and triggered his obsession with President Duterte.” Inday Sara said in her interview.
