Social media personality Rosmar Tan answered the accusations that they intentionally didn’t pay for the food they ate at different restaurants in Coron.

It can be recalled that Rosmar, Rendon Labador, and Team Malakas visited Coron. They became controversial after storming the island’s municipal hall.

Some netizens also revealed the complaints from restaurant owners who were allegedly forced to feed the social media personalities for free.

In her statement, Rosmar said that they were not the ones who asked for free food, as it was offered to them by those restaurants on the said island.

She even claimed that the restaurants were competing with others just to be selected.

“Actually nung pumunta kami ng Palawan, nag aagawa ang mga restaurant para ILIBRE kami ng food para sa kanila kami kumain. YES! Libre totoo naman pero kapalit nun ay pi-picturan kami at ipo-post sa mga pages nila hangga’t kailan nila gusto,” said Rosmar.

“Pero dahil natuwa kami nag-post din kami sa socmed namin at prinomote mga restaurant na kinainan namin,” she added.

As of writing, the restaurant owner who accused Team Malakas of the said practices has yet to respond to Rosmar’s statement.

Rosmar, Rendon and Team Malakas were declared persona non-grata in the said island.

Nikko Natividad was reportedly safe from being removed as one of the casts of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo after he publicly criticized Vice Ganda.

It can be recalled that some fans of Vice urged Batang Quiapo’s leading actor and director, Coco Martin, to remove Nikko as one of their possible ways to get revenge for the statements of the former hashtag member.

Nikko also mentioned the ‘power tripping’ attitude of Vice, which the comedian’s fans denied while trying to remove him from all his projects.

According to veteran columnist Cristy Fermin, Coco didn’t listen to the clamors made by Vice’s fans.

Nikko already stated that he never regrets calling out Vice.

“For the last time na magsasalita ako tungkol sa nakaraan kong post. Unang una sa lahat hindi ako nagsisisi na nagsalita ako ng sarili kong saloobin. Hindi ako nagsisisi na ipagtanggol ang ibang tao. Nababasa ko mga komento nyo saken at ang gusto nyo mawalan ako ng trabaho dahil lang sa naglabas ako ng sarili kong saloobin. (Na alam ko na posibleng mangyari),” Nikko wrote.

Banco de Oro addressed the public after one of their customers, Gleen Cañete, published a video in which he was seen crying and claiming that his money was wiped out of his account.

In the video, Cañete was crying when he told the netizens that he had never withdrawn his money from the bank.

BDO’S STATEMENT:

In a statement released by BDO, they clarified that the money was not returned from Cañete’s bank account as it was legitimately withdrawn online.

They even gave a hint that one of Cañete’s relatives might be involved in the withdrawal of the money.

“Please be informed that in the recent passbook incident as narrated by Mr. Gleen Cañete in his social media account, BDO has been able to account for the withdrawals that caused stress to Mr. Cañete. Ronnie Liang’s camp addressed the public after a video of him interacting with former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque went viral on social media.

The video shows a brief moment between Liang and Roque, where the latter joked about the artist showing his topless body to their fans.

In a statement, Atty. Rafael Vicente Calinisan set the record straight that his client and Roque did not have a personal relationship.

Calisan’s statement was their response to the netizens who were linking Liang to Roque.

The netizens were questioning Roque due to his connections with his former executive assistant, who’s a former winner of Mister Supranational.

The daughter of Romeo Pastrana, a.k.a Dagul, made a statement after her father was no longer included in the Kapamilya program ‘Goin Bulilit.

In a post she published on social media, Jkhriez Pastrana clarified that her father was now in a good condition following his hospitalization.

According to her, she accepted that her father was no longer chosen to be part of ‘Goin Bulilit, but she denied that the producer hadn’t chosen Dagul to return due to his health condition.

“Gusto ko lang I clear sa inyo na hindi ako malungkot dahil wala si papa sa “Goin’ Bulilit,” nalulungkot lang ako sa mga isyu na lumalabas and Okay lang sa akin na wala si papa sa Goin’Bulilit,” she said.

It can be recalled that social media personality Renz Joshua Baña, a.k.a. “Baby Giant,” was chosen to replace Dagul’s part in the new generation of ‘Goin Bulilit.

In a past interview, Dagul shared how difficult it is for him to work due to his condition.

“Siguro hindi na kaya ng bigat ng katawan ko,” he said. “Out [of] balance talaga. Kumbaga sa kandila parang nauupos na.”

Dagul wanted his daughter to follow suit and enter the showbiz industry, but until today, there was no news about whether she would be involved in any projects.
