Leyte 4th district Representative Richard Gomez raised the netizens’ eyebrows after he made a recommendation after being stuck in traffic along EDSA.

In his post, the lawmaker narrated how he was stuck along EDSA for more than two hours.

He then proposed to open the bus lanes to private vehicles during traffic hours.

However, some netizens criticized Gomez’s proposal, saying that he was not aware of the benefits of having a bus lane for normal commuters.

According to them, a bus could accommodate 38 passengers compared to the 4 to 13 capacity of private vehicles.

They even invited Gomez to try riding the bus lane to see how convenient it was.

Gomez already deleted the said post as of writing.

Celebrity fortune teller Rudy Baldwin shared her ‘vision’ for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

In her Facebook post, Rudy mentioned Eldrew and Eliza Yulo as possible gold medal winners in the next Olympics.

She also mentioned women boxers, Aira Villegas, and Nesthy Petecio.

In his vlog, Gerald said that one of the individuals who approached him was younger than him when they experienced the same maltreatment from Tan.

“Ako po ay gulat na gulat dahil may mga nag-message po sa akin na ilan niya din pong nabiktima,” said Gerald. “Ang ikinagulantang ko po ay meron po na mas bata pa sakin,” 

However, he refused to name the said individual, saying that he was not in the right position to reveal their identities.

“Nasa sa kanila ‘yon kung gusto nilang lumabas at magsalita,” he stated.

He also said that he was already preparing to file charges against Tan.

Before he ended his vlog, Gerald said that he hoped his decision to disclose his experience would inspire other members of the showbiz community also to seek justice.

“Nakikita ko na po ang liwanag doon po sa madilim kong pinagdaanan,” he stated.

As of this writing, Tan has yet to respond to Gerald’s revelation.

Gerald Santos was planning to file charges against musical director Danny Tan 19 years after the alleged incident where he was “forced” by the latter happened.

In his social media post, Gerald expressed relief that he was finally taking steps to get the justice he deserved.

“Ang luwag sa dibdib ko ngayon na aking pinangalanan na ang umabuso sa akin kanina sa Senado.. Unti unti ay nakakamit ko na ang hustisya at dadalin nanamin ito sa hukuman. Ang akin pong paglabas tungkol dito should not be a lost cause,” said Gerald.

There was a 20-year prescription for cases like Gerald’s.

As of writing, the musical director who produced several shows under GMA Network has yet to give a response to the possible charges he may face.

It can be recalled that Gerald named Tan during the senate hearing.

WHO IS DANNY TAN?

Danny was a known composer and musical director who worked in the television, movie, theater, and recording industries.

He became famous when he collaborated with Regine Velasquez in 1989 when the latter was competing at the 2nd Asia Pacific Song Festival, where the singer won.

The songwriter also wrote the song “Written in the Sand,” which Regine Velasquez performed in 2000.

Danny became one of the judges of Pinoy Pop Superstar in 2004, where he possibly met Gerald, a contestant at that time.

In 2007, Danny produced his first show on GMA Network, “Popstar Kids,” hosted by Kyla.

He also formed a group consisting of the young finalists of Popstar Kids, Rita Iringan, Julie Anne San Jose, Vanessa Rangadhol, Pocholo Bismonte, and Renzo Almario.

Danny then produced the second season of Pinoy Idol and became its musical director.

His last project with the network was possibly in 2009, when he became a judge of Are You The Next Big Star?

It can be recalled that Gerald blamed Danny for the downfall of his career, which he believed started when he made a formal complaint against the latter before the GMA executives.
