Veteran journalist and former Vice President Noli de Castro was caught giving his opinion against suspended Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo while delivering news about the latter on-air.

In the said episode of TV Patrol, De Castro was seen presenting the lead of the news report about Guo, who was considering running for reelection again.

After De Castro ended his report, the veteran journalist could be heard saying ‘kapal ng mukha’ moments before the news package of ABS-CBN journalist Zyann Ambrosio was played.

“Kapal ng Mukha,” the veteran journalist could be heard saying.

It can be recalled that Guo was suspended due to her questionable background and possibly fake citizenship.

Despite the accusations against her, Guo was still technically eligible to run for reelection as she has yet to be convicted.

Netizens couldn’t stop themselves from reacting to De Castro’s statement.

“I may not always agree with Kabayan, but I agree with him on this,” a netizen said.

“Hinde na kinaya ni kabayan ang kapal ng muka mo alice!! Kapal kasi sobra,” another netizen commented.

Former Sugarpop member Enzo Almario admitted that he allowed his former producer and musical director, Danny Tan, to take advantage of his innocence.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Enzo said that Danny started to do obscene acts to him when he was still just a 12-year-old kid.

Enzo narrated that the incident happened several times in different places.

“Ang first kasi namin was sa sinehan. And then natuloy sa office niya sa pet shop niya sa SM North. Iyon ang first. And then ‘yong mga sumunod na po was different locations na,” said Enzo.

Ogie couldn’t stop asking why Enzo allowed Danny to do the said acts to him repeatedly.

“Noong unang-una po sobrang ano ako eh, confused about ‘Ano ‘to?’ Bakit niya tinatanong? Kasi, sabihin ko na, ang unang sinabi niya was ‘Hindi pa ako nakakakita ng bird ng 12 years old.’ Nasa kalagitnaan ng sine tapos nasa likod kaming part. I don’t know. Kahit tanungin ko sarili ko ngayon, ‘What was running through my head that time?’ Hindi ko alam…” said Enzo.

Enzo admitted that he was also curious about how he would feel at that time.

“Siguro I was very, very curious about it din. Kasi may sudden feeling ka na something foreign to your body na first time ginagawa sa ‘yo. ‘Ano ba ‘to?’ ‘Anong sensation ‘to?'” he stated.

Enzo was currently helping Gerald Santos, another artist who claimed to be a victim of Danny in his charges against the musical director.

Entrepreneur and social media personality Rosmar Tan couldn’t hide her emotions while trying to explain her intention to run as councilor for Manila’s 5th district.

During an interview after she filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) on October 1, 2024, Rosmar said that she was only convinced to run again after her disastrous attempt in 2022.

She believed that they convinced her to become a councilor as she could help more people while in a position.

“Wala naman po talaga ako kasing balak. Nagkataon lang po ngayon nakumbinsi po nila ako dahil sabi po, mas marami daw po akong matutulungan kapag nakaposisyon,” she stated.

While her image on social media was controversial, Rosmar insisted she would be a good public servant and would not corrupt any funds.

“Opo, ga** man ako sa social media, peros hindi po ako kurakot,” she stated.

It can be recalled that Rosmar was known for being involved in several controversies, including her confrontation with municipal staff in Palawan.

Some netizens criticized Vice Ganda after it was announced that his partner, Ion Perez, had decided to run as a councilor in Tarlac.

On October 1, 2024, Ion filed for candidacy in his hometown, which confirmed the long-time rumors that he was planning to enter politics.

However, some netizens disliked Ion’s decision and even called out Vice for supporting his partner.

In some posts on social media, they criticized Vice and even called him a ‘hypocrite’ for criticizing unqualified candidates but supporting the decision of his partner.

Priscilla Meirelles admitted that she lost many opportunities when she decided to marry John Estrada.

In an interview with Luis Manzano, the former beauty queen said that while she didn’t regret marrying and building a family with the actor, she still felt some compunction about not pursuing her dreams.

“I had plans for my life, a time frame, so to speak. I think, nowadays, the time frame has changed so much,” said Priscilla. “If there’s one thing I would change — but I do not regret it — it’s that I shouldn’t have gotten married so early,”

“Your focus is on your family and kids. I did focus on my family and my daughter. I was a full-time mom,” she added.

However, Priscilla was hopeful that she would pursue her dreams in the future.

Eagle-eyed netizens noticed Anthony Jennings’ girlfriend as she reposted some cryptic content on her social media page.

In her reposts on her social media page, netizens noticed the theme of Jam Villanueva’s posts, which were about betrayal and disloyalty to someone’s partner.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo had expressed his excitement about building a family with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.

In a letter he wrote for their 52nd monthsary, Carlos said that he was grateful that God blessed him with a girlfriend like Chloe, saying that she always supported him.

“Maraming salamat sa binigay mong suporta at pagmamahal sa akin. Sobra akong natutuwa at humahanga sa naging journey at mga nangyayari pa sa buhay natin ngayon, unti unti na nating naabot ‘yung mga pangarap natin sa buhay ng sabay,” said Carlos.

A teacher in Palawan couldn’t hide her emotions while narrating how their school principal allegedly embarrassed her several times in front of students and teachers.

In an interview, El Nido National High School teacher Mary Hazel Austria revealed that the principal confronted her several times.

Even her child, who attended the same school, allegedly experienced the same bad treatment from the principal.

Austria admitted that she initially didn’t want to disclose her problem with the principal, but she have had enough of her superior’s attitude.

“Sa palagay ko walang maglalakas ng loob na magsumbong takot lahat sa kanya (principal) ako rin takot sa kanya pero sa dami ng sama ng loob na binigay niya sa akin ‘di na ako matatakot magsabi kahit kanino…tulad dati ‘di ko sinasabi sa asawa ko ngayon ko lang nai-kwento sa kanya,” said Austria.

Former students of the said school expressed their support to Austria and described her as a good teacher.

“I know ma’am Austria way back my senior high school days. She’s one of my favorite teacher at El Nido NHS campus. MAGALING na teacher at considerate as long as makakatulong sa student. She’s a mother actually not just a teacher sa students n’ya talaga. Subrang bait at mahinahon po s’ya sa pagtuturo man o sa labas ng campus. Sending hugs ma’am. Hope you get what you deserve po,” netizen Mia said.

As of writing, the principal has yet to give a response to Austria’s statement.

Veteran talk show host Boy Abunda denied that he was not interested in interviewing two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo.

In his statement, the ‘King of Talk’ believed it was not yet the right time to interview Carlos because the issue between the latter and his parents was still heavily debated on social media.

According to him, he told his staff to stop reaching out to Carlos for an interview.

“Like everyone else, I wanna know the truth. It’s so hard to judge because the (information) is limited. The details that I know are not enough to issue a judgment” said Tito Boy. “People would say Boy is not interested because maka-Nanay, that’s not fair. Maka-Nanay naman ako, but napaka-personal yun and I will say it now, walang pwedeng gawin ang Nanay ko na ‘di ko mapapatawad. But that’s me and I will not impose that on anyone,”

“I can only pray… I mean, totoo talaga na sana ngayon na maganda-ganda ang buhay, mag-usap. I don’t know, maybe, kailangan tumahimik muna and that’s one of the reasons na hangga’t maari ‘wag muna tayong dumagdag sa ingay.” he added.

As of writing, Carlos has yet to give response to Tito Boy’s statement.
