Netizens quickly noticed how Michelle Dee deleted her photo with It’s Showtime’s segment “EXpecially for You.” former searchee Atty. Oliver Moeller.

It can be recalled that Oliver was paired with Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee during the segment and many fans couldn’t stop shipping them.

However, on Thursday, netizens noticed Michelle’s deletion of her photo with Oliver after the latter hinted at his admiration for It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu.

“I’ve always thought Kim was such a pretty person. You know, she’s from Cebu. So, I mean, I guess you could say that.” the lawyer said.

“I don’t think it’s fair that I speak about that without Kim’s permission. So, I’m so sorry. I hope you understand. But Kim’s pretty nice,” he added.

Aside from his thoughts on Kim, Oliver also expressed his interest in becoming an actor.

Meanwhile, Oliver described Michelle as a “, amazing, elegant, well-spoken person” and “very professional”

Netizens already expressed their disappointment for the alleged heartbreak experienced by Michelle.

“He’s a good looking guy but I don’t like him for Kim as well. Mukhang clout chaser na pa simple. I want a guy na medyo private for Kim. Yung hindi ma social media,” a netizen said.

Kim only recently ended her relationship with Xian Lim and her fans also hoped that she would avoid entering into a relationship for now.

As of writing, Kim has yet to give her answer if she’s already accepting suitors now.

Eat Bulaga host Tito Sotto said that he was willing to provide documents to prove that their longest-running noontime show was already on the verge of closing due to financial difficulties.

On the Wednesday episode of Eat Bulaga, Tito said that he would present the income tax returns of Eat Bulaga to counter the reports that they’re not gaining profits anymore due to their ballooning budget.

Tito’s co-host, Allan K, also called the critics of Eat Bulaga ‘mema.’

It can be recalled that several social media pages claimed that Eat Bulaga was facing financial difficulties due to its ballooning production budget.

The profit sharing between MediaQuest and TVJ Production was also facing issues due to its allegedly lowering revenues.

However, the document that may be presented by Tito would end the speculations about the show.

The issue started to spread after Eat Bulaga’s number one competitor, It’s Showtime was transferred to GMA, the former network of TVJ.

While It’s Showtime was already surpassing Eat Bulaga in noontime show ratings, experts believed that it would be too early for Kapamilya fans to celebrate as the Dabarkads were known to recover from lowering popularity.

Joey de Leon may mensahe sa mga It’s Showtime fans at Eat Bulaga:

Joey de Leon responded to the critics of Eat Bulaga and It’s Showtime fans amid the rumors that their noontime show was facing financial difficulties.

On the Thursday episode of Eat Bulaga, Joey said that the critics who were spreading the said information were only jealous of the longevity of their show.

Show in the World,” said Joey. 15 lang ha, eh by that time baka bumiyahe na ako eh,”

He added: “Bastusan na kasi labanan eh, bastusan na, siraan, walang kwenta, but enjoy lang tayo. Umabot muna kayo ng 45 years. Longest running top 5 (TV Show) in the World. Mainggit kayo! Wala eh ganun talaga…

It can be recalled that social media pages Chakapuso and Kapatid Insider published information about the alleged secret meeting set by TV5 to discuss the financial problems and ballooning budget of Eat Bulaga.

According to the reports, aside from the increasing budget of the show, Eat Bulaga was also allegedly facing profit profit-sharing problem with TV5’s Mediaquest.

Fans also claimed that the Kapamilya program’s arrival on GMA Network quickly made It’s Showtime the number one noontime show in the country.

However, the decision of TV5 to transfer Eat Bulaga on a bigger studio contradicted the claims of the critics.

DJ Mo Twister responded to the criticism he received on social media after Kaye Abad mentioned his remarks during an interview with Boy Abunda.

In the said interview, Kaye talked about how she was compared to actress Iza Calzado.

At least ugly version.” she said.

The revelation made by Kaye prompted her fans to criticize Mo.

However, the controversial DJ clarified that he was only citing some of the comments made by newspapers about Kaye during their podcast.

“What I said regarding Kaye Abad, stemming from when I called her ugly. It’s been on the news and in tabloids online and I just need to fix this,” said Mo.

“Let’s put this ugliness behind us,” he added.

As evidence, Mo published some parts of the podcast.

Kaye also responded to the clarifications made by Mo on his Instagram page.

Netizens reacted to the visit of television host Alex Gonzaga to social media personality and entrepreneur Deo Jarito Balbuena, popularly known as “Diwata.”

In her social media post, Alex published a teaser of her next vlog featuring Diwata Overload Pares.

Her husband, Mikee Morada was also present during the vlog production.

However, netizens couldn’t stop noticing the facial expression of Diwata, saying that the social media personality was visibly not delighted during Alex’s visit.

Some netizens speculated that Diwata was already tired due to the volume of customers and the vloggers who kept featuring his business.

It can be recalled that Diwata already reminded the vloggers about their boundaries and asked for privacy.

“Mayroon na tayong kitchen so kailangan na natin ng limitasyon, wag kayong magagalit kapag hindi kayo pinayagan dahil karapatan ko naman ‘yan,” he stated.

He also went viral after visibly expressing disappointment to the people who made fun of him.

The Civil Service Commission said the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) accepting the P200,000 from former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson was illegal.

It can be recalled that Singson’s staff was apprehended by MMDA enforcers after they used the exclusive bus lane along EDSA.

Instead of defending himself, Singson was so impressed by the enforcement made by MMDA,  that he decided to give P200,000 to the team of enforcers who apprehended his vehicle.

MMDA accepted the reward during a ceremony and the agency said they would use the money to improve their services.

However, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) called the decision of MMDA to accept the money illegally, citing Section 7 of RA 6713, also known as the “Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.”

The law cited that “public officials and employees shall not solicit or accept, directly or indirectly, any gift, gratuity, favor, entertainment, loan, or anything of monetary value from any person in the course of their official duties or in connection with any operation being regulated by, or any transaction which may be affected by the functions of their office.”

CSC Commissioner Aileen Lizada said that MMDA enforcers are already being funded by the taxpayer’s money and should not accept donations from private people.

Kung maraming magva-violate ang magbibigay ng pera kasi hinuli sila at ilalagay sa General Fund, there will be now another source of money coming in na dapat ho hindi,” Lizada explained.

You don’t have to reward us for doing our work, sa pananaw ko po…sa Batas 6713, bawal po,” she added.

As of writing, MMDA has yet to give their comment to the statement made by CSC.

Girl group 4th Impact made an apology after they received criticism on social media after they launched fundraising to build a bigger kennel for their almost 200 Shih Tzu pets.

The fundraising went viral last March, which aimed to raise P5.6-M to buy a farm for their furbabies.

In their post on GoFundMe, 4th Impact member, Almira said that due to the number of their pets, some neighbors already complained about the noises coming from their kennel, which forced them to separate some of their dogs.

4th Impact received criticism from the netizens, and experts, calling them irresponsible for letting their fans shoulder their mistakes.

The criticism was also intensified by their attendance at Taylor Swift’s concert in Singapore.

In a Facebook post, 4th Impact’s member, Mica Almira, said that they’re refunded the money they received from their fans.

“I will not let anyone stop our dreams. I will defend my group and my family ..my sisters are the most amazing humans I know,” Mica said.

They also explained that their first five Shih Tzu were not related to each other and most of their offspring only came from one male dog.

The group also explained that their tickets for Taylor Swift’s World Tour were gifts from their fans.

“We are closing this chapter and that we are NEVER irresponsible pet owners,” she wrote.

Veteran actress Maricel Soriano was already dragged in the political drama between former President Rodrigo Duterte, and his successor, President Bongbong Marcos Jr.

During the “Defend the Flag Peace Rally” last Sunday, Duterte repeated the same claims made by blogger Maharlika against PBBM.

It can be recalled that Maharlika published a paper, which she claimed was a pre-operation document of PDEA, which aimed to catch Bongbong Marcos and Maricel Soriano.

He also believed Marcos was already showing signs of his ‘polvoron’ use.

As of writing, Maricel has yet to give any statement to the claims made by Duterte against her.

‘Nakakadiri!’

Joel Mondina, also known as ‘Pambansang Kolokoy’ children, CJ and Aaron answered the claims made by their father in his vlog.

During their Mukhang vlog, CJ and Aaron, who were dining with their mother, Grace Mondina, didn’t hesitate to answer the statement made by their father several weeks ago.

CJ narrated that last December, he discovered a bundle of cash inside Joel’s house in Las Vegas and quickly informed Grace about it.

However, Joel caught CJ, which prompted the Filipino vlogger to force his son to make it appear that Grace gave him a task to get the bundle of cash without permission.

“He forced me to actually say that my mom told me to steal cash, which she never told me,” said CJ.

They also received a warning from Joel last January to discredit their mother, or else he would release the video of CJ during his discovery of the bundle of cash.

CJ and Aaron also denied Joel’s claim that they were sharing underwear.

“You should not believe a word that my dad sends out to the world. He lies a lot,” CJ said.

Grace tried to interrupt CJ from continuing to say things against his father, but he still went further.

“It’s true. My dad lies, he lies a lot – he is a liar, he is a sinner, he lies a lot. He says he’s going to do something for me but when I remind him like maybe later, he says “No ask your mom,” so he’s a liar, I don’t like him,” he stated.

Influencer Ronnie Suan, also known as Boy Tapang, was facing possible charges from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for making a kite using 1,000-peso bills.

In the said vlog posted on April 2, 2024, Ronnie, together with his friends, built the giant kite and even showed the process of how they made it.

Their project was successful, but at the same time, received criticism from the netizens, which eventually reached BSP’s radar.

On April 13, BSP’s Payments and Currency Investigation Group visited Ronnie in his home and warned him of the possible charges he may face for what he did.

Ronnie then made a video to apologize for his actions.

“Ginawa ko po ‘yung content for entertainment purposes only.

He also urged the netizens to stop sharing the said video as they may face charges.
