A netizen shared a behind-the-scenes after the hosts of Kapuso noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ bid farewell to their fans last March 2.

Netizen BobtinTV shared some of the scenes during the last episode of the show produced by Television and Productions Exponents (TAPE) Incorporated.

Several hosts including Buboy Villar, Alexa Miro, and Betong Sumaya could be seen in tears while saying goodbyes to the staff of the show.

The executives of TAPE could also be seen comforting several of their staff.

There were reports that TAPE decided to end the show due to ballooning debts.

Meanwhile, TAPE’s former hosts and staff who left their production company to express their support to Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon were still enjoying their current job on their new noontime show on TV5.

TAPE also reportedly blamed their former hosts and staff for the misfortunes that happened in their company.

“Last year alam niyo naman yung nangyari na hindi dapat nangyari: iniwan tayo ng kasama natin eh. Before ako pumasok dito at nagdecide ang Jalosjos family na makialam na, nakita na namin sa mga reports na palaki nang palaki ang diperensya ng paggastos at ng income… in short, nalulugi,” TAPE President and Chief Exective Officer Jon-Jon Jalosjos said.

Actress Whitney Tyson narrated how she was treated badly during the taping of her previous show, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

In an interview with Julius Babao, Whitney, who’s actively looking for projects, shared her bad experience with an actress who was part of the popular Kapamilya show.

According to her, the bad treatment started when she made a joke to their director.

Whitney was portraying the character Elizabeth, who’s the housekeeper.

“Sa ‘Ang Probinsyano,’ meron din. Parang naulit muli, pinaiyak din ako diyan,” she said.

“Kasi nag party-party kami doon eh. Edi uminom-inom ako, then sabi ko sa direktor namin na kasi sumagi siya doon habang nagte-taping kami mabango si direk. Kaya ‘nung nalasing kami, nasabi ko, ‘Nako direk! Kapag may taping tayo ang bango bango mo.’ Ginawan nila ng eksena ‘yun,” she added.

She then described the incident to Julius.

“Pagbalik ko sa kwarto, siyempre pag nag-toothbrush ka, ang gagawin mo,” Whitney said while trying to reenact her habit of coughing to clean up her throat while brushing her teeth.

“Tapos ang sabi niya, maingay daw ako, pero siya ‘yung tumayo nag-ingay, binagsak ang pinto, kung saan saan nagpunta parang humahanap siya ng kakampi ba niya. ‘Nung nakakita na siya ng kakampi niya, ayun, ako na ‘yung inaano nila,” she added.

Fortunately, Ara Minda, who’s also part of the show, comforted and defended her.

“Tapos nagsumbong ako kay Ara Mina, tinawagan ko. Eh ‘nung time na ‘yun, kinakasal si Ara Mina sa Baguio…hindi ako sinagot. Iyak ako nang iyak sa lobby ng hotel,” she said.

“Sabi ko, wala akong kakampi dito. ‘Nung time na ‘yun, gusto ko nang umuwi. Kaso baka lalo silang magalit sa akin dahil umalis ako sa kumbaga bubbles namin.” she added.

Whitney said that she tried her best to act properly, but the said actress didn’t stop from treating her badly.

“Sabi ko, mabait naman ako, sumusunod naman ako sa mga roles na gusto nila, pero bakit ganito ang babaeng ito? Siguro gusto niyang mawala ako doon para masolo niya ang pagka-diva,” she stated.

Donita Rose’s husband, Ferson Palad, disclosed how he stayed as a ‘virgin’ until his marriage with the television host.

According to him, his faith in God was the reason for his abstinence.

“However, both my wife and I firmly believe that she articulated her thoughts appropriately for the occasion. We view this as an opportunity to share the gospel and the goodness of God through our personal testimonies, especially targeting the younger generation,” Felson said.

“Yes, I was indeed a virgin when my wife and I tied the knot. While some might doubt my claim, I do not aim to prove my virginity; that would be irrelevant,” he added.

Felson also pointed out that they wanted to educate the youth about his experience.

It can be recalled that Donita said that marrying a virgin husband was an ‘answered prayer.’

Robert Go, the fraternal twin of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actor Ricardo Cepeda launched a fundraising to gather enough money for the latter who’s currently behind bars due to estafa charges.

It can be recalled that he received charges from the customers of SPVTOP International Inc., which allegedly offered 96% annual interest to their investors.

However, Ricardo said in a past interview that he was not part of the company and was only hired as an endorser.

In his post on February 29, 2024, Robert explained why his brother was wrongfully accused and insisted that the actor had no position in the company.

Robert also disclosed the financial problems being faced by Ricardo, saying that the actor was forced to abandon his current and future projects due to the case.

Dr. Richard Mata republished a video of his message to content creators and vloggers who were known for promoting betting sites and earning commissions.

In his Facebook post, the celebrity pediatrician said that while people have free will, the actions done by some content creators were wrong.

According to him, Filipinos should look upon Singapore where betting is not part of their culture.

After Tahanang Pinakamasaya’s closure, GMA Network was reportedly active in searching for a new noontime show that would replace the Jalosjos-owned program – and one of the fitting candidates was Willie Revillame’s Wowowin.

The Wowowin Facebook page already hinted at its interest in replacing Tahanang Pinakamasaya, sharing information about the possible move by GMA Network.

They also shared a report from Jon Dela Cruz about the possible comeback of Willie on the noontime show competition.

“Willie Revillame, babalik sa GMA-7 sa isang noontime show. WALA LANG. NABALITA KO LANG,” Dela Cruz said.

However, Willie has the biggest competitor when it comes to the precious noontime slot of GMA, which became unavailable for 29 years.

It’s Showtime, which is already being aired on one of GMA Network’s channels was also reportedly being considered to replace ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya.’

However, some fans believed that Willie’s return on GMA may heat the competition, which is considered healthy for the industry.

Willie formerly hosted Wowowin on GMA Network but left due to his decision to create a new show on AllTV, which proved to be a flop.

As of writing, Willie has yet to give his comments about his possible return on television.

Claudine Barretto disclosed the only time that late actress Jaclyn Jose became so angry at her.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Claudine said that she made an action, which prompted Jaclyn not to talk to her for two months.

Claudine was referring to the controversial commotion involving her and Marjorie Barretto during the wake of her father.

Claudine also expressed regret as she didn’t visit Jaclyn in the last three months.

“Im sorry d kita naramdaman gaya ng dati.ikaw bilang nanay ko alam mo may mali andito ka kaagad.mahal na mahal kita Nay,” she stated.
