In an interview with Boy Abunda, Zeinab said it was her first time to be defended by someone, a feat that her ex-partner Skusta Clee failed to do.
Zeinab shared that she prayed to God to give her Bobby because she knew that he was a good person.
“Lord, ibigay niyo na ‘to kasi he’s really a good man po. Hindi naman ako magtitiwala agad agad kung hindi niya in-earn ‘yon sakin. Pinatunayan niya naman ‘yung sarili niya,” Zeinab said.
“First time ko napagtanggol. ‘Diba ‘yung parang hindi mo na kailangan i-explain sarili mo kasi mayroong mag eexplain para sa’yo,” she added.
However, some netizens expressed doubt if the relationship between the two would last as the internet celebrity was known for her troublesome relationship with Skusta.

Joey de Leon made a joke about how the Eat Bulaga issue revived the popularity of television shows, including their competitors.
During the media conference for their upcoming new show, Joey said that their issue against Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) revived the interest of the public to free television.
“In other words, sabi nu’ng anak ko nga, si Jako, ‘Niyanig niyo ang telebisyon. Matagal niyo nang ginagawang magpayanig, ginugulo niyo. Kayo ang pinakamalakas na earthquake, lahat ng sumunod aftershock na lang iyan.” said Joey.
“Ibig sabihin, nabuhay (ang telebisyon). Kami, oo, alive tayong lahat, pero mas alive kami sa 5. Alive ang TV ngayon. Biro niyo, nabuhay lahat, e. Lahat nagulantang, lahat nayanig. Masaya, kaya masaya. Good. Dapat nga magpasalamat sa amin yung ibang TV shows, di ba, nabuhay sila, e. Ang daming nabuhay, nagkahanapbuhay, alam mo na,” he added.
However, several netizens, including fans of It’s Showtime, negatively reacted to Joey’s comment.
“Parang below the belt ang dating,” netizen Antonio said.
“Yabang ni Joey de leon, iyakin nmn, nung gustong tanggalin ng mga Jalosjos,” netizen Ronald remarked.

A family in Nueva Viscaya couldn’t hide their dismay after the body of their relative who passed away had been removed forcefully from its casket by their neighbour.
According to the report, the neighbour, identified as Teofilo Sanorias, 58, suddenly visited the wake of Gonzalo Espinosa, then opened the basket in front of their visitors and quickly grabbed and threw away its body to the floor.
They also heard that the suspect insisted that the body inside the casket was fake.
The family couldn’t hide their fright when they witnessed what Sanorias did to Espinoza.
Mrs Estrella Espinosa then quickly reported the incident to the authorities and quickly put Sanorias in their custody.
The relatives of the suspect believed that Sanorias was influenced by bad spirits.
Espinosa’s family also decided not to pursue charges against Sanorias, who quickly apologized for what he did.
The funeral parlor now brought the body back to the casket and tried to fix the result of Sanorias’ actions.
Eat Bulaga host Paolo Contis set the record straight about the criticisms he was receiving on social media.
In an interview with Pep.ph, Paolo said that he’s not really keen on wasting his time with his critics, saying that he was aware of his past mistakes.
It can be recalled that Paolo was already a controversial actor before hosting Eat Bulaga, but the criticisms were amplified when he decided to become part of the rebranded noontime show.
Aside from his failed relationships with Lian Paz and LJ Reyes, Paolo also received criticisms for admitting that he’s not sending child support to his children.
“As I’ve said, bashing, wala, wala sa akin. Hindi ko alam, paulit-ulit akong tinatanong. Hindi ba kayo naniniwala na wala akong pakialam sa namba-bash sa akin?” Paolo said.
“Totoo, wala talaga. Kasi, alam ko naman ang mali ko.” he added.
According to him, he didn’t value the comments from the netizens because he didn’t know them personally.
“Pero yung iba na natatanggap ko na hindi ko naman kilala, bakit ko pakikinggan kung nakausap na kita?” he said.
He even claimed that his critics only knew 10% of the true story.
“Hindi ko responsibilidad na mag-post to defend myself anymore.” he said.
Paolo even shared that he asked his mother not to use her phone for a while to avoid reading comments about him.
“Tinanggalan ko sandali ng phone ang mommy ko kasi, not bashing related, it’s for her health. Siyempre, nanay yon. Eventually, baka ma-stress.” he stated.
Ice Seguerra admits that he received several guesting offers from the competitors of Eat Bulaga but decided to refuse them because of his loyalty to Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.
Ice, who’s formerly Aiza Seguerra, rose to stardom after winning Little Miss Philippines in 1987 and became one of their hosts until 1997.
In an interview with Aster Amoyo, Ice mentioned the guesting offer he received from It’s Showtime but decided to refuse it because he did not want to appear in any show competing with Eat Bulaga.
He even allowed it to be put in his contract.
“Like what I said, hindi ko tatablahin ang TVJ. Kahit ano pang show. I mean I have friends with It’s Showtime. But when they would ask me can you guest here, I would alwasy say, pasensya na po. I don’t guest in any show na katapat ng Eat Bulaga,” Ice said.
“And it’s even in my contract. Nakalagay dun, any show na katapat ng Eat Bulaga, hindi ko sasamahan.” he added.
Ice also said that he considered the ‘Dabarkads’ like his own family.
“I really treated them as family. Like you know I have weekends sa bahay ni Tito Vic with his kids. Sina Oyo, si Ate Danica… It’s because of my personal relationship with them.” he said.
It’s not yet known if Ice was planning to join the TVJ in their new show on TV5.
Comedian Pokwang made another message to her critics, who kept posting negative comments about her.
On June 23, Pokwang addressed her ‘bashers’, calling them ‘pikon’ or sensitive when she’s paying attention to them.
“Mga bashers pinaka pikon na nilalang hahahhahaa,” said Pokwang. “Magpapapansin sa artista tapos kapag pinansin at binigay mo ang hanap nila galit na galit!!!”
“Pa victim again bwahahahhaa,” she added.
It can be recalled that Pokwang had already made several attempts to file charges against her critics.
On June 15, Pokwang posted a comment from one of her critics and even vowed to ask NBI’s assistance to catch the netizen.
The netizen accused Pokwang of using her former partner Lee O’Brian to make her family more beautiful.
“Pokwang is beautiful, di nya kailangan magpalahi sa amerikano para magkaron ng magandang anak,” the netizen said.
She also responded to a doctor who said that Pokwang only wanted a ‘green card’ from Lee.
The said tweet has been deleted as of writing.
“God Doctor kang naturingan dinka nag re research??? nag marites kana rin lang mali pa? di po kmi kasal bwahahhaha ask ko mam [Atty.] Charito Zamora kung trabaho ba ng doctor ang ganito?” she said.
“Bakit po nag delete ng twitt si Doc sayang ipapakita ko po kay Mam Charito Zamora wohooo,” she added.
Motivational Speaker Rendon Labador couldn’t stop himself from responding to Paolo Contis’ message to the critics of the rebranded version of Eat Bulaga.
On June 20, Paolo challenged the critics of Eat Bulaga to keep reporting the pages they were creating to live stream their program on social media.
While rebranded Eat Bulaga pages were disabled, Paolo and his co-host Isko Moreno were using their own social media accounts to live stream the program.
“May nabalitaan ako. Sa Facebook daw maraming newscaster, mga nagre-report at nagtagumpay sila. Congratulations! Ang gagaling niyo!” Paolo said.
“Pero kami ang gusto lang namin ay mapasaya at mag-enjoy kaya hindi kami susuko. Mapapanood niyo pa rin ang Eat Bulaga sa Facebook, sa official Facebook page ni Yorme at sa official Facebook page ko,” he added.
However, Rendon questioned the courage shown by Paolo, reminding the latter about his decision not to send child support to his three children Xonia, Xylene and Summer.
“Pano kami maniniwala sa mga sinasabi mo na “Di kami susuko”? eh sarili mo ngang mga anak sinukuan mo ang sustento mo,” Rendon said.
It can be recalled that Rendon repeatedly reminded Paolo about his support for his children.
No one could imagine that one of ABS-CBN’s top-rated shows, ‘It’s Showtime,’ would be aired on the channel of their competitor GMA Network.
In a statement, GMA CEO Felipe Gozon expressed excitement over the decision of It’s Showtime to transfer to GTV Channel after staying for months on TV5.
It’s Showtime would start airing on GTV beginning July 1, matching the grand launch of Eat Bulaga, which replaced them on TV5.
Coincidentally, Eat Bulaga was also the closest rival of It’s Showtime, and it’s not yet known if their rivalry influenced the decision of the ABS-CBN’s program not to stay with the same network as the Dabarkads.
However, netizens noticed the silence of Gozon about the possible fate of the rebranded version of Eat Bulaga after its contract with GMA expires in 2024.
Some observers said that it’s possible that the rebranded Eat Bulaga would be replaced by It’s Showtime if the program showed signs of unpopularity.
It can be recalled that It’s Showtime almost surpassed the rebranded version of Eat Bulaga in ratings in the past few days, despite GMA having broader coverage on television.
As of writing, TAPE Inc. and GMA have yet to release a statement about their future plans.

Luis in a Facebook post denied that he was under the influence during the said performance and even called his critics ‘jealous’.
He even showed the cheering he gained from Pagadian City officials.
“Para sa inyo to mga Ka-Jopay na sobrang gigil sa akin at nagsasabing lasing ako at sayang daw ibinayad ng Pagadian City, hahaha!” he said.
“Si Mayor Sammy Co and his family mismo ang nag-cheer niyan. maka-react kayo, akala nyo kasali kyo sa live event namin hahaha. Inggit pikit.” he added.
The actor also said that he’s not forcing the netizens to watch him.
“Di naman kayo pinilit na manood pero honestly guys, to all my bashers, thank you so much for this! You guys are the best!” he stated.

In the past few months, rumors have been circulating on social media about the possible removal of Ryan Agoncillo, Maine Mendoza, and Paolo Ballesteros in Eat Bulaga.
The news came before Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and all original Eat Bulaga hosts resigned from Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) last May 31.
Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin and her co-hosts Rommel Chika and Wendell Alvarez discussed in their online show ‘Showbiz Now Na!” the basis of TAPE Inc. to remove the three hosts despite having a huge fanbase.
Wendell shared the information he received, citing the possible reasons why Maine, Ryan, and Paolo almost got removed from Eat Bulaga.
Maine Mendoza’s alleged fading popularity:
According to Wendell, TAPE Inc. allegedly wanted to remove Maine because of her fading popularity, citing that her tandem with Alden Richards, popularly known as ‘AlDub,’ has been disbanded already.
However, Cristy argued that Maine has still a strong fanbase despite the absence of the AlDub love team.
“2015 ipinanganak ang AlDub hanggang ngayon mainit pa rin. Hindi pinagsawaan ng publiko. Ang AlDub ay AlDub pa rin,” Cristy said.
Ryan Agoncillo’s only purpose is when he needs to communicate in English to the audience:
Rommel talked about the rumored reason why TAPE Inc. allegedly wanted to pull out Ryan from Eat Bulaga, saying that the host only becoming useful because of his English skills.
However, Cristy called the reason ‘unfair’ saying that Ryan’s talent as a host has been recognized by many people.
“Ipinanganak na host si Ryan Agoncillo. Kaya hindi dapat minamaliit ang kanyang talento,” Cristy said, citing the successful hosting of Ryan in now-defunct talent show in TV5 ‘Talentadong Pinoy’.
Cristy then talked about the basis made by TAPE Inc. to remove Paolo from the show allegedly connected to his identity as a member of the LGBT community.
However, she cited that Paolo became one of the reasons why Eat Bulaga dominated the ratings in 2015 during the AlDub phenomenon, mentioning the host’s character as Lola Tidora.
“Eh nung panahon, kasagsagan ng AlDub, sino ba ang bumuhay dun sa Kalyeserye ‘di ba? Sino-sino ang mga lola?” she said.
“At saka ano ‘yung hanggang pa-make up, make up lang daw si Paolo Ballesteros? Yaman po ng mundo ng sining ang kahusayan ni Paolo sa pagmi-make up na kaya niyang plakaduhin kahit sinong international star,” she added.
Aside from the said three hosts, Ryzza Mae Dizon has reportedly planned to be removed from the show and be replaced by another child host.
