The family and friends of Joey Paras announced the passing of the known comedian and director.

In a Facebook post, the ‘Bekikang’ star said that the family of Joey was also facing several difficulties as they couldn’t take his body at home because of hospital bills.

That was why the camp of the comedian was asking the netizens to participate on the fundraising they were doing to help Joey’s family.

“To all of our family and friends, we are saddened to announce that our Tito Joey Paras, passed away and joined our Creator this afternoon, October 29, 2023 at 5:40pm. Unfortunately his heart wasn’t able to recover anymore,” Kim Cabrillas said.

“Currently, his remains are still at the hospital’s morgue. We need to settle his hospital bills for us to take him home. Our family is knocking at your kind and generous heart to help us raise a fund to cover his hospital bills.

“Our family are still raising funds to pay for Tito Joey’s Funeral Service and other expenses as well to help us transfer him to Quezon City,” she added.

Joey’s health problems that were discovered in 2018 put his family in financial difficulties, and a little donation would help the bereaved.

Actor Epy Quizon shared his untold story working with Francis Magalona during his appearance on the GanjaHoops podcast.

According to him, his first meeting with Francis was not good, and they almost fought each other.

Epy said that he only wanted to introduce himself to Francis, but the latter found him ‘annoying,’ which resulted in a clash between them.

Veteran actress Maricel Soriano finally revealed the celebrity who received her hardest slap through her 52-year career in show business.

Also known as ‘Taray Queen,’ due to her intense acting style, Maricel received an intriguing question from her fan on X (formerly known as Twitter).

She believed that comedian Vice Ganda was the one who received the hardest because of the aftermath of their scene.

Even if he received the hardest slap from Maricel, Vice remained friends with the Diamond Star.

Vice described that one of the highlights of his career was his meeting with Maricel.

In a video posted by Julius Babao, it was seen that Sharon and KC were performing ‘IKaw’ together with Gabby Concepcion, the latter’s father.

Actor Kier Legaspi revealed that it was already a long time since his last conversation with his daughter, Dani Barretto.

In an interview, Kier disclosed that he was not trying to reach his daughter to his former partner, Marjorie Barretto, and was praying they would still get a chance to meet in the future.

“To be honest, my dad and I never really had a solid relationship. All I know is he’s my dad and that’s it. We had a brief relationship which was like two months. It was nice,” Dani said.

Kier was also experiencing the same problem with Dennis Padilla, who’s also a former partner of Marjorie.
