One of the cases filed by actor Sandro Muhlach against two former independent contractors of GMA Network was junked by the Pasay City Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC).

The said charge was the acts of lasciviousness case filed by Sandro to Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, who allegedly took advantage of him in a hotel room last year.

According to the ruling by Pasay MTC Branch 46, Nones and Cruz’s motion was granted to quash the charges, saying that the allegations were already covered by other complaints filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

“The acts of lasciviousness before this court are necessarily included in the charge of r-pe before the Regional Trial Court,” the court ruling read.

It can be recalled that Jojo and Richard denied the allegations against them.

However, CCTV footage outside the hotel room showed how Sandro’s gesture changed before and after he visited the suspects.

“Noong nagpunta siya doon sa hotel na naka-check in ang dalawang subjects, normal at relaxed ang movement ni Sandro pero after noong nangyari ‘yung insidente, makikitang nagbago ‘yung kaniyang kilos. Siya ay mabilis ng maglakad, balisa at parang distressed and very anxious,” NBI investigador Atty. Zulikah Marie Conales said.

“Bigla na lang siyang umupo sa tabi ng wall fronting the elevator kung saan inaantay niya ‘yung mga kaibigan niya na sumundo sa kanya,” she added.

Actor Derek Ramsay couldn’t stop himself from criticizing Philmar Alipayo and Andi Eigenmann while defending his friend, Pernilla.

In a statement, Derek criticized Philmar for allegedly not trying to fix his issue with Pernilla, who went viral on social media after celebrating their 10th year of friendship by having a couple tattooed.

The couple tattoo incident was believed to be the reason why Andi made cryptic posts against someone who allegedly urged her to break up with Philmar several times.

“Philmar, magpakalalake ka. Ayusin mo ang problema mo sa asawa mo, pero huwag mong bastusin si Pernilla na tumulong sa lahat ng problema mo,” said Derek.

“Ikaw okay ka na, paano si Pernilla, umiiyak. Andi what is your intent to all of this?” he added.

Derek believed that Andi’s post was made to destroy Pernilla’s reputation.

In his defense, Derek said that he could even sleep with Pernilla in the same bed, and his wife, Ellen Adarna, would not doubt him.

“I can sleep in the same bed with Pernilla, and my wife won’t doubt,” he stated.

The actor also believed that Pernilla should take legal action.

As of writing, Pernilla has yet to give any comment on the issue.

Meanwhile, Andi and Philmar appeared to be okay again.

Internet celebrity Whamos Cruz accepted the challenge of undergoing a DNA test to prove his paternity to Baby Meteor.

In a Facebook post, Whamos mulled charges against the people who spread the said rumors if he was proven to be the real father of his son.

“PAPALAGAN KITA JAN SA DNA BASTA KAPAG TUGMA DNA NAMEN PAPAKULONG KITA PAYAG KA?” said Whamos.

According to him, he was already glad that he didn’t resemble Meteor as he didn’t want his son to become a subject of mockery online.

“SINABI KONA SA INYO UNA PA LANG NA NASA TYAN PALANG ANG ANAK KO NA C Baby Meteor PINAG DASAL KO NA HINDI MAGING KAMUKA DAHIL AYOKO MAKARANAS ANAK KO SA PANG BABASH NYO NA KATULAD NG PANGLALAIT NYO SA ITSURA KO,” he said.

“SWERTE NALANG AKO DAHIL NAGING GWAPO ANG ANAK KO AT MAY MAIPAG MAMALAKI AKO SA TAO NA KAHIT GAANO MAN AKO KAPANGIT NAPAKA TALINO MABAIT GWAPO NG ANAK AT NAPAKA GANDA NAMAN NG ASAWA KO Antonette Gai,” he added.

In another post, Whamos said that he was already looking for a company that would perform the DNA test for him and Meteor.

It can be recalled that several netizens asked Whamos to check if he was the real father of Meteor because of the latter’s appearance.

Businessman and singer Jojo Mendrez defended himself from the suspicions of the netizens who saw several photos of him together with Mark Herras at a luxury hotel in Paranaque.

On February 5, 2025, a Facebook page revealed some of the photos taken at the hotel, showing Jojo and Mendrez sitting and talking together.

“The person seen with Herras seem to be the uprising singer who is now trending on social media. The two spotted together in a hotel casino at around 11:30 pm last Feb 5, both seems so happy together,” the page wrote.

There were reports that some eyewitnesses saw Mark and Jojo entering a hotel room together.

In an interview with Pep.ph, Jojo admitted that he indeed met Mark at the hotel, but it was unplanned.

“Nagkita kami sa Starbucks sa Okada, pero doon kami sa bandang madilim, kasi nga siyempre iniiwasan ko na nga yung usapan na galing nga si Mark Herras sa pagsasayaw sa bar, di ba? Siyempre, pinag-uusapan yung gay-gay issue na yan. Kaya ang ginawa namin, dun kami sa may gilid na madilim sa Starbucks,” said Jojo.

When they met, Jojo discussed that he wanted Mark to do a short dance video of late actress Julie Vega’s song “Somewhere In My Past.”

Mark agreed to Jojo’s request, so they went to the latter’s room to record the content privately.

“Pinalabas na nag-check-in kami ni Mark Herras. Nang dumaan kami sa lobby, siyempre na-recogize siya [Mark] na nakitang magkasama kami. Nagpunta kami dun sa kuwarto. Kumbaga, walang malisya yun. Parang ginawan lang ng content yung sa ‘Somewhere in My Past’ ko, na nagsayaw siya,” he stated.

He also insisted that he didn’t stay with Mark in the hotel room without his manager.

“Pagkatapos niyang sumayaw, dapat maiwan ako dun, pero ayoko. Sinabi ko kina David, baka mamaya mangyari yung dati kay Sandro Muhlach, natakot ako, pag maiwan kami dun ni Mark, e. Nagkukuwentuhan lang naman kami dun. Alam mo na, baka may isyung ganun, di ba? Mahirap na. Kaya, nagkayayaan kami sa casino,” he stated.

It can be recalled that rumors that Mark was receiving indecent proposals from different individuals since he started performing at a popular gay bar.

A motorcycle rider who was supposed to only receive a ticket was now facing serious charges after his failed attempt to escape the officers of DOTr-SAICT on Friday.

According to the report, the rider used the EDSA busway illegally, which prompted the authorities to apprehend him.

However, instead of stopping, the rider kept driving even if one of the officers of SAICT already blocked his way.

The escape resulted in one of the lady enforcers colliding with the rider.

Because of the incident, SAICT chased the rider and was successfully caught.

Currently, the suspect is under the custody of the Coast Guard Investigation and Detention Management Service (CG IDMS) and is presently detained in their headquarters.

The rider was facing the following charges: Resistance and Disobedience to an Agent of Persons in Authority; Direct Assault Against an Agent of Persons in Authority; Abandonment of One’s Own Victim; Reckless Driving; and Slight Physical Injuries.

Meanwhile, the rider insisted that he couldn’t stop because of the brake failure.

“This incident underscores the unwavering stance of the DOTr-SAICT in enforcing traffic laws, emphasizing the safety of both its officers and the community. It serves as a potent reminder of the legal repercussions awaiting those who disregard traffic regulations,” SAICT statement read.

Filipino surfer Philmar Alipayo was spotted revisiting a tattoo shop after being linked to his girl best friend, Pernilla Sjoo.

During the session, Philmar’s ‘224’ tattoo was seen to be covered by a black substance, which started to raise speculations that he decided to get it removed.

However, some tattoo experts said the substance was a plaster to protect the tattoo and not remove it.

Philmar and Pernilla gained the attention of the netizens after the surfer’s partner, Andi Eigenmann, posted cryptic messages about a friend who betrayed her.

Netizens suspected Andi was referring to Pernilla, who allegedly convinced the actress several times to end her relationship with Philmar.

Philmar and Pernilla were seen having a couple tattoo together to celebrate their 10 years of friendship, which is believed to gain Andi’s ire.

The meaning of the tattoo was ‘2gether, 2morrow, 4ever,’ which symbolized their long-lasting friendship.
