Drag performer and Taylor Swift impersonator Taylor Sheesh admitted that she was still in distress after she received a karate chop from one of the audience who watched his concert in Bayambang Pangasinan.

On April 6, the drag performer, whose real name was John Mac Lane Coronel, was seen interacting with fans when someone from the audience decided to target her neck.

Bayambang Mayor Nina Jose-Quiambao called the incident a case of homophobia and vowed to hold the suspect accountable for what he did to their special guest.

The local chief executive expressed her deep disappointment over the incident.

“Don’t worry. Authorities have the person in question and this matter and incident will be dealt with accordingly. BYB is a peaceful and safe town!” she wrote.

Quiambao also addressed the netizens on a Facebook video and said that the man was already behind bars while waiting for the charges that would be filed against him.

“We will make sure that justice will prevail,” she said.

As of writing, the suspect has yet to give any statement on why he did such an act amid a supposed fun event.

Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin believed that It’s Showtime would never surpass Eat Bulaga whatever strategy they apply.

In her program “Showbiz Now Na!” Cristy discussed the transfer of It’s Showtime on GMA Network.

According to them, it would be wrong if the goal of a network was to surpass its competitor.

They also believed that It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda should learn his lesson to be humble, unlike what he did against their competitors when they still had the franchise.

“Sana maging leksyon na ‘to noong dating nasa sarili silang network niya kung paano niya pagsabihan ng kung ano-ano ‘yung Eat Bulaga, dapat ngayon magbago na sila ng istratehiya,” Cristy’s co-host Rommel Chika said.

Cristy also reminded her co-hosts that Vice also made fun of GMA Network in the past and not only Eat Bulaga.

“Kahit anong gawin ng It’s Showtime, hindi niyo na kayang pataubin pa ang wala ng dapat patunayan,” she said.

Meanwhile, Cristy said that only time would tell if It’s Showtime would really surpass the longest-running noontime show.

It can be recalled that Cristy and Vice were exchanging criticism in the past months.

Vice even said that he would release a song about a gossiper, which his fans believed to be Cristy.

It’s Showtime Teddy Corpuz urged the netizens to stop escalating the competition between their noontime show and TV5’s Eat Bulaga.

In his tweet, Teddy reacted to some netizens who were making comments on how It’s Showtime would surpass Eat Bulaga when it comes to television ratings now that the Kapamilya Show was part of GMA Network.

According to him, both television shows have the same goal to entertain the people, and not every day does that show lead the rating competition.

The Takoyaki shop that went viral on social media on April 1, 2024, due to their April Fool’s Prank admitted that they knew the man who claimed to put the logo of their brand on his forehead.

It can be recalled that Ramil Albano received sympathy from the netizens who thought that he was victimized by Taragis Takoyaki Shop’s April Fool’s Prank, a business owned by Carl Quion.

Albano pretended that he put the logo on the shop, hoping to receive P100,000, without knowing that it was only an April Fool’s Joke from Taragis.

He revealed that Ramil already put the logo of the Takoyaki shop on his forehead last March 28.

“Bakit sa noo? Dahil kung hindi sa noo ay mawawalan lang ng saysay ang tattoo dahil wala nang nakakawili pa sa isang brand logo na nakatatak sa noo ng isang tao,” he said.

Through her Instagram page, Karla warned the netizens about the individual pretending to be her son to ask for money.

According to her, the said individual was directly messaging random fans of Daniel and claiming that they won a giveaway launched by the actor.

The fake account will then ask for a GCash number, and even promise P5,000 cash.

Karla urged the netizens not to entertain anyone pretending to be her son.

Security experts advised the netizens not to easily share their contact numbers, especially if it was connected to their e-wallet accounts.

Bianca Lapus admitted that she was affected by the criticism received by her child, Yce Navarro when he was introduced to FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.

Yce, who’s Bianca’s child to Vhong Navarro, received comments from netizens who questioned why he became part of Batang Quiapo despite his appearance.

Joel Mondina, a.k.a Pambansang Kolokoy, denied that he was suffering from Andropause, which caused him to have mood swings and a dysfunctional reproductive system.

In a social media post, Joel made a sarcastic response to his former partner, Grace Mondina who hinted about his alleged condition.

To prove that he was still functioning, he hinted that he would have another child with his new partner, Dawn Sherrine.

“Ganito pala may Andropause may kasunod na naman si Gigi! Hoomaayyygoodness! Jun jun behave!” he said.

The former partners exchanged criticism on social media in recent days.

Joel on Tuesday, criticized Grace and even blamed his former partner for his downfall.

Veteran actress Nova Villa finally made a response to the decade-old rumors about her and the late ‘Da King’ Fernando Poe Jr.
