Content creator Chloe San Jose revealed why she decided to leave the custody of her biological mother in Australia.

In an interview with Toni Gonzaga, Chloe said she moved to Australia at 11 years old, where her hardship, according to her, began.

Chloe claimed that she experienced maltreatment from her mother, which prompted her to quickly live independently when she reached the age of 18.

According to her, she experienced both verbal and physical maltreatment from her mother.

“It really wasn’t that’s why I wanted to move out when I was 16, but since I was still a minor, I couldn’t. So I had to wait for two years so I could move out,” said Chloe.

When she decided to leave the custody of her parents, Chloe asked for help from her friends.

In the same year, Chloe met Carlos and became part of her life.

Since then, both of them have been living together.

She said her experience was why she was brave and independent.

Meanwhile, Chloe’s mother, Maria Fe San Jose already released a statement to clarify her relationship with her daughter.

“Totoo na bago pa lamang magkakilala si Carlos at Chloe, mayroon ng problema ang kliyente ko at ang kanyang anak dahil narin sa pagkakaiba nila ng ideya tungkol sa pagpapalaki kay Chloe,” said Atty. James Ciudadano in an English statement.

“Nag-umpisa yung hidwaan sa kanila noong menor pa si Chloe, ilang taon bago siya mag 18, gusto niya na siya ‘yung masusunod at hindi ‘yung ina niya. Gusto ng kliyente ko ay matutunan ng anak niya ‘yung Filipino values lalo na’t protective mother siya at gusto niya lamang ‘yung mas makakabuti kay Chloe,” he added.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo was known to be the endorser of a popular chocolate drink brand during his first years as a gymnast.

However, after his successful Olympic gold medal finish during the 2024 Paris Olympics, netizens noticed that he didn’t receive so much recognition from the brand, making them speculate that their partnership was already over.

Amid the discussion on her possible removal from the brand, Carlos announced his new ‘favorite chocolate drink,’ which was owned by a networking company IAM Worldwide.

A video published by the company showed Carlos enjoying the chocolate drink and even explained why it became his favorite.

“Mahilig talaga ako sa chocolate drink, kaya lang madalas hindi ito healthy,” said Carlos. “Pero nahanap ko na ang healthy chocolate drink, ang aking new favorite,”

Some netizens believed that the lines uttered by Carlos in his new endorsement were a swipe against his former brand.

It can be recalled that one of the criticisms received by the said popular chocolate drink brand was its excessive sugar content, which is believed to be one cause of health problems.

Meanwhile, Carlos’s decision received mixed reactions from the netizens.

Starstruck Alumnus Jesi Corcuera announced to his followers that she finally decided to get pregnant.

A lawyer said that he preferred to see content creators like Deo “Diwata” Balbuena and Rosmar Tan become lawmakers than artists like Lito Lapid and Robin Padilla.

Actress Andrea Brillantes has received criticism on social media in the past few days due to allegations that she received VIP treatment to secure a ticket for Filipino-American artist Olivia Rodrigo’s concert.

Some netizens and clients of a bank that announced two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo as their newest brand ambassador have expressed their disappointment with the decision of the said company.

Several netizens swarmed the social media page of the said bank and declared that they would not patronize the company.

Some individuals who also claimed to be clients of the bank said that they would transfer their money to another financial institution.

“Not interested. Stick ako sa BPI. Masamang impluwensiya sa mga kabataan, bastos sa magulang,” a netizen said.

Lian Paz’s partner, John Cabahug, said that he almost made a move to adopt Xonia and Xalene legally.

In an interview, John shared that sometimes, Xonia and Xalene used his surname when they were doing school activities, which prompted him to come up with the idea of adopting the children so they could use his surname anywhere.

Meanwhile, Paolo admitted that he didn’t send any financial support to his children, but insisted that he was saving for them.

Netizens couldn’t stop being touched by the closeness between Paolo Contis and Lian Paz’s daughter, Xonia, and her stepfather, John Cabahug.

In her social media post, Lian shared the letter made by Xonia for John after taking care of her.

Xonia also drew her family, which include John.
