A man who claimed to be the mall security guard who confronted a Sampaguita vendor finally ended his silence.
In a video, the man could be seen still wearing his uniform and cap, explaining his side, saying that the vendor was already uncooperative with them even before the video started recording.
He also insisted that he was only doing his job.
“Sinusunod ko lang po ‘yung trabaho ko bilang isang security guard,” he said.
The security guard also addressed the family of the vendor, saying that they would not let their children sell on the streets and pretend to be a high school student if they were good parents.
“Kung magulang po kayo sana ay nagpaka-magulang po kayo, hindi niyo sana pinapayagan ‘yung anak niyo na nagtitinda kung saan saan,” he said.
He also said that it was not his intention to harm the vendor.
He also tried to defend his actions towards the vendor.
