Comedian Vice Ganda made a huge slip after mistakenly calling a Kalokalike contestant who impersonated actress Denise Laurel as ‘Deniece Cornejo.’
On October 11, 2024, Vice was talking to Denise and to the impersonator when suddenly, the comedian mistakenly mixed up the names of the latter and the controversial personality who was currently detained for her alleged actions towards It’s Showtime co-host Vhong Navarro.
The situation became more awkward as Vhong was sharing the same stage with Vice during the incident.
“How well do you know Deniece Cornejo?” said Vice.
Denise quickly approached Vhong to hug the television host.
Vice then quickly noticed his mistakes and hugged Denise.
It can be recalled that Deniece was currently facing serious charges after she was involved in the group that allegedly forced Vhong to be put under their custody in 2014
Vhong was already declared innocent by the Supreme Court.
However, before his acquittal, Vhong was put under the custody of the authorities for several months.
