Talent manager Ogie Diaz believed that Vice Ganda still needed to fill a void so his transfer to GMA Network would finally be satisfied.
In his program, Ogie revealed that Vice was being criticized until today due to his issue with one of the pillars of GMA Network, Jessica Soho.
“Feeling ko, para maging buo, as in 100 percent ‘yung happiness ni Vice sa kanyang pagtuntong sa GMA, feeling ko ‘yan na lang ang kulang, ‘yung kapatawaran ni Jessica Soho sa kanya at ‘yung pagsisimula ng kanilang friendship kung mabibigyan ng pagkakataon,” said Ogie.
Vice already hinted at his interest in meeting Jessica and being featured on her show, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho. Still, the veteran newscaster only ignored the comedian and never commented on the issue in 2013.
Jessica became the subject of one of Vice’s jokes during his concert, which almost ended the comedian’s career.
Even GMA Network personalities couldn’t hide their disappointment towards Vice during that time.
There were reports that Jessica never accepted Vice’s apology.
Jessica’s award-winning magazine show didn’t even feature It’s Showtime’s historic transfer to GMA Network, which sparked speculations that the journalist was still resentful towards Vice.
Meanwhile, Vice’s fans was hoping for a reconciliation between their idol and Jessica as they’re now sharing the same network.
