Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto was surprised when he was informed that his co-host, Atasha Mulach, only received a P100 daily allowance for her school.
During the segment of “Peraphy” on Eat Bulaga, financial advisor Chinkee Tan, who was one of the guests of the noontime show, gave advice to the audience on how they could save money.
“Kailangan, number one, huwag kang magdadala ng pera na higit sa budget mo. Kung ang budget mo ay Php300 lang… ‘yan ang ilagay mo sa wallet mo,” said Chinkee.
After Chinkee’s advice, Vic asked Atasha about her daily allowance before she became an actress.
Atasha quickly revealed that she was only receiving P100 despite being belonged to a well-off family.
To his surprise, Vic jokingly said that he would file a complaint against Atasha’s parents, Aga Mulach and Charlene Gonzales.
“Wow! Grabe, ha?! Sino ang mga magulang mo? Parang gusto ko ipa-barangay,” Sotto said in jest.
It can be recalled that Atasha also admitted that she only had her first phone five years ago when she was 17 years old.
As she was late from owning a phone, Atasha said that she was still learning on how to use social media effectively.
“Actually, I’m still learning the ropes of social media because I was only given a phone at the age of 17,” she said.
