Internet celebrity Joel Mondina, a.k.a Pambansang Kolokoy, didn’t waste the opportunity to ride the trend of social media phenomenon Deo Balbuena, popularly known as Diwata.
In his vlog, the controversial vlogger posted content showing his visit to the most popular Paresan in the Philippines.
The video shows Joel being swarmed by his fans and other content creators, who are surprised by his sudden visit.
Diwata also accommodated him while trying to taste the trending Fried Chicken and Pares Overload.
“Alam niyo mga kaibigan, sobrang nakakatuwa dahil ang alam ko si Diwata nag-umpisa lang sa maliit pero tignan mo nga naman ngayon diba… Hindi ka na ma-reach Diwata,” said Joel.
“Kaya masaya ako na nakadaan ako dito, matagal ko na talagang gustong makadaan dito,” he added.
Joel also treated some 86 customers during his visit to show his generosity.
The visit received mixed reactions from the netizens.
“Nakikinabang lang sa views,” netizen Ahr said.
“May pang libre pero ang sustento?” netizen Natasha asked.
“Si Ditawa takbuhan ng mga vloggers na wala ng maisip na content,” netizen Lee remarked.
Others also reminded Joel to have time to visit his son Aaron, who traveled from America to the Philippines to see his father.
